RETURN TO TINA'S WORKPLACE

The following morning Ken and Tina returned to their hotel at the beach it was their last day together since the holiday was coming to an end and they had enjoyed their quality time together. They checked in in their room had a shower and went to have their lunch.  They enjoyed their chicken tika and vegetable salad and took a glass of white wine. They enjoyed a siesta in the beach beds provided by the hotel. The nap helped them in relaxing, it was a happy hour to sleep the exhaustion in their bodies, and meditate and the nap turned out to be super effective in their swimming and snorkeling expedition.

After that, they dressed in their swimming costumes and went to the beach for a swim.

They swam at the beach at took a boat for a snorkeling experience they were given a wetsuit and a mask and were taken to a sand island that the guide explained the island was visible in a few hours of the morning then later hours of the afternoon is covered by the sea. The boat ride was an experience of a lifetime they could see different marine habitats, different species of colored fish, and coral reefs and the site was breathtaking. They enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime experience and Tina was happy because despite her being scared of the sea Ken was able to guide her gently and convince her to join him in the adventure. They swarm with the beautiful fish spices they found at the coast then had to leave before the tides grew strong. It was once in a lifetime experience and never the day to end.

After snorkeling, they had a stunning experience when swimming with the dolphins. After the instructions by the instructors, in the water of course dressed in a life jacket, there was kissing, and swimming while touching the smooth soft skin of the dolphins. Ken who was more daring than Tina did the belly rides, was pushed up and soared in the air by the dolphins with its nose and the experience was magical. swimming with the dolphins was an unforgettable experience that make you see the world differently and appreciate nature and its creation.

They returned to their hotel room had a shower relaxed, made love, and explored each other’s bodies, giving pleasure by caressing, kissing passionately, drinking each other juices, feeding each other’s souls and minds, and fulfilling their human desires. He needed to buy a promissory gold necklace engraved with K & T for Tina although it was not an engagement ring where he would have a party with his family he wanted to commit to her through the promissory bracelet which was specially designed in gold and written “you will forever be mine” and a love sign with K letter engraved on it. Ken wanted Tina to realize that he was not joking but needed a lifetime commitment. He went to a boutique in a mall and bought her a few clothes including beautiful dresses that would bring out her curves he had noted that she was a conservative which made him love her even more because compared with other ladies he had dated she never asked for anything from him, in fact, she never knew she was a millionaire but loved him the way he was. 

Ken was afraid to reveal his real identity to Tina because she said she only wanted a simple man and if they could meet their necessities and lead a simple life she was satisfied. She never wanted to love a man for his wealth or his status quo.

Ken went to a Barbershop and sent the driver with the package and to come back with Tina. When Kantai went to their room Tina had woken up and refreshed she was just seated waiting for Ken. So when Kantai knocked on the door Tina was anxiously waiting for her love. But when she says Kantai at the door she was amazed but Kantai said “I was sent by Mr. Ken to give you this package. He says that you prepare and meet him at a certain place in half an hour. Tina did not ask for more but took the package from Kantai and thanked him when she opened it she could not believe her eyes a very pretty red dress, sandals among others. There was a note written kindly put on the red dress and the sandals I want to meet my favorite girl where Kantai will lead you to. 

Little did Tina know that Ken had made arrangements for a candlelight dinner at the beach. Kantai led her to the beach and she could not believe her eyes when she saw love-shaped candles lit and a table set for two in the middle.

After a few drinks of champagne Ken excused himself to go to the washroom, Tina was in her world when she felt Ken touch her neck in a careless and felt a chain being tied to her neck. This my love is a promissory necklace and the bracelet was put on my arm it was the most beautiful piece of jewelry I have ever worn. She loved the way it was written that she will remain forever the woman she devoted to love him forever. Ken knelt before her and he said: “darling promise me you will wait for me, I love you Tina and you will remain mine forever promise me”. Yes, I promise she said crying tears of joy.

He gave her a promissory chain and bracelet for a lifelong friendship, love, and loyalty. The jewelry was a sign of commitment to the love he had for Tina.

They enjoyed the Champaign and decided to join others at the dance hall. They enjoyed the dance and drinks overnight since tomorrow they will be both going back to their daily chaos. Tina swung her hips seductively and Ken held on to her like he never wanted her to leave. They went to sleep tired and exhausted but very excited and wished the day would never end.

I had to pick up his call because it sounded urgent he was worried about what had happened to you since you weren’t picking up the phone. I assured him you are fine just sleepy and he requested you call him as soon as you woke up. Tina woke up took shower and dressed up for dinner she could not believe its evening she has been sleeping the whole day. She called Ken who answered on the first ring, “you had me worried my baby are you fine?”, yes Tina replied “I think I overslept”, “you were exhausted baby we had a lot of activities in the last few days, you remember, I miss you” Ken said. “Have you eaten anything today” Tina replied “Yes I had breakfast”. Ken insisted she goes and have dinner and they will talk later. “I love you, baby,” Ken said, “I love too” Tina replied. Ok let me see what Lilly has prepared for me she heard her tummy rumble and we will connect later love.

When she went for dinner Lily had set the table and was waiting for her they have dinner. Lilly had prepared a special rice and beef stew meal since she knew it was Tina’s favorite who ate with a big appetite and when she finished Lily asked her to join her at the coach. She served them with a wine glass Tina offered to go and clean the dishes but Lilly said no girl that can wait I want to hear the juice, spill everything. Tina smiled seeing how anxious her friend was to hear all the details and joined her at the coach. 

Tina narrated to Lilly about her holiday without giving details until Lily noticed that she was withholding something so she said “Girl I want the juicy part about Ken, spill the beans”. I am not going anywhere until I get all the details. Tina told Lily about their meeting having dinner together in the beach hotel, their safari, and eventually the promissory gold chain and bracelet. “Wow, Lily exclaimed they are beautiful, tell me how and when it happened they spent till midnight talking. Lilly hugged her friend I am so happy for you. At least you will forget that loverboy Sam and I hope you settle with Ken. Promise me to please never go back to Sam, Tina assured Lilly, I have realized the meaning of love. That’s when Tina remembered she hadn’t called Ken, "oh girl goodnight Tina told Lilly, I have a telephone call to make. Lily also went to sleep. Tina knew it was late and decided to text her lover goodnight but was surprised when he replied immediately.

Tina then called Ken on facetime to chat they were both very excited to see one another although it wasn’t like being together. They recalled their holiday the times they were together, the good times and they did not want to say good night to one another. I miss you darling “Ken said” I cannot survive that long without meeting you.

Ken said, “Good night my love tomorrow is a working day and I don’t want you to be late for work. Sweet dreams”. “I will dream with you sleep tight my love” Tina replied. They disconnected the phones at the same time and called it a night. 

Tina set the phone because tomorrow was another working day. She woke up early and prepared herself to report to the office and continue in her daily chaos. When she went to her office she found her desk missing from the usual sitting arrangement. Then the phone rang and she Tina good morning,  welcome back to work, kindly come and see me in the office. Tina became worried wondering if she was getting a redundancy letter. What did I do wrong she wondered to herself. So she decided to take the risk and go and see what is happening at the Human Resources office. When she knocked on the door the HR replied “come in”. Tina entered not knowing what to expect but the HR officer Mr. Mark told her to sit down. “I know you are wondering why I called you here and you might have noticed that your desk is missing from its usual place”, Mr. Mark commented. “Yes,” that’s all Tina managed to answer. She went inside expecting anything and since her desk was missing maybe it was a dismissal letter. That was the longest and most stressful moment Tina had ever had in her place of work. She entered the office holding her breath and praying. “Morning sir”.

“Let me cut the chase to keep you at ease, here’s is your appointment letter as the assistant to our new CEO”, it’s a reward for your hard work and since you have the necessary qualifications we the management have decided to promote and we hope you will continue being very productive as you have been previously. Tina was so grateful and thanked HR for the opportunity and promised to continue performing better. Then she remembered before there was no CEO and the senior manager was the General Manager. “If you don’t mind my asking sir before I left the senior manager was the GM how come you said the CEO does it mean Mr. Sigh our GM is now the CEO, what happened to his assistant?”. “Ooh, sorry I forgot to tell you, the hotel has new investors who want to refurbish it and raise the hotel standards to a higher level. The CEO Mr. King is coming in a month to oversee the Hotel’s refurbishment. I hope you serve him well as your boss and Tina, once again congratulations. My secretary will direct you to your new office.

Tina settled in her new office it was large and her boss's office was opposite and was locked since he would not be in for about a month. Nobody knew when he would turn up but they knew it was a wealthy man. All Tina had to do was settle in and do the jobs directed to her by the General Manager and sometimes Mr. King, the new CEO was sent some queries via email or things to do and Tina was answering and giving him the required information that he required. What mesmerized her was that he never called her directly but either used the GM or HR but never talked to Tina.

Tina was also told by HR she has been sponsored by the company to go for management training for two weeks to familiarize herself with the duties of an assistant to the CEO. Tina could not believe her luck she had just been praying for a breakthrough and now from nowhere with her promotion and salary increase, she could see light at the end of the tunnel. Then after the training, Tina was called to the HR’s office she knocked on his door “You called me sir” Tina asked. “Yes please have a seat the HR replied, we have received a letter that you need to go to our head office for a familiarization tour and also to know what is expected of your new job as the assistant to the CEO”. You will be trained for one week before the CEO reports to our office so please go and pack your flight tomorrow morning and pass the accountant's office to pick up your allowances Tina best of luck and be the good girl you have always been, don’t let us down”. Thank you, sir, Tina replied.

She called her friend Lily, and when she picked up the call Tina said, “hi girl where are you” Tina asked let's meet at the choices restaurant. Then Lily was confused about what was the matter we can still meet at home in the evening. No Lily please let's met for lunch I need to talk to you. Lunch is on my bill. Okay, Lily said give me thirty minutes I organize myself I am on the way.

Tina left her office and went to meet Lily at the restaurant, amazingly Lily was waiting for her to take a drink, it was not normal for Tina to invite her for lunch Lily had become anxious and wanted to find out what is happening to her best friend. 

When Tina entered the restaurant she took her seat both ordered lunch and then Lily could not hold her anxiety anymore and said, spill the beans girl and tell me everything is it about my brother-in-law Ken when is the wedding due, I cannot wait to be the bride of honor. “Hold your horses who talked about Ken, in fact, the last time we talked he was leaving for a two-week conference in Japan and he told me that communication might be tricky due to our time zone, and also the phone range. I called you, Tina said because I am leaving for 2 weeks of familiarity job training at our head office”.  

“My goodness, Tina my girl you must be very lucky this promotion is making a change in your life. I am happy for you girl. When are you leaving”, Lily asked, “ tomorrow Tina replied I am going to pack for the journey. 

“Hi, girl, wait you aren’t going anywhere yet”, Lilly said, Tina was a bit perturbed about what was wrong”.  “We are going to make you look beautiful and you also need a new wardrobe, you can’t just go with your old clothes. So Lilly made a few phone calls she booked a beautician, a salon where they both went for a spa and massage, a salon that had her hair styled beautifully, a manicure & pedicure, and also a facial. By the time they finished, it was evening but Lilly insisted they visit a mall and buy some clothes and shoes. Lilly insisted you need to look beautiful girl it's time you came out of your hiding place. You need to show off your beautiful curves and your body girl. Tina had to go with the flow since Lily insisted. She had even used her card for the expense even when Tina protested Lily insisted it was her price to her small sister. Don’t worry you’ll pay me later. Tina didn’t have a choice but to go with the flow and by the end of the day they were exhausted, they ordered a pizza to eat and went to sleep. Tina had to wake up early because she had a flight to catch and packing to do. Lily woke up and dropped her off on time, they hugged and Tina bonded the plane on time and they took off just on time.
