Laura's POV

We went on another round. I lost count when it got dark. I cleaned myself up, and I wore back my clothes.

Damian was still laying on the bed, naked, but the duvet was covering half of his body.

I proceeded to leave, but I was stopped by him.

“Take this,” he said, handing out a white envelope.

“Money?” I asked. “I don't want your money. I am not a prostitute,” I said.

I saw surprise flash through his face before I walked out of the room.

I slammed the door out of anger. Why would he offer me money? Am I sone cheap slut or he'd just fuck for fun, and pay off?

I sniffled. That's what you get when you offer yourself freely to a man you weren't supposed to.

I couldn't stay at the mansion anymore. I went to Brenda's room, and I took my bag to leave.

I rushed out of the house immediately. I ran into Brenda outside. She just got out of her car and walked towards me. She was done with her date, she held a flower bouquet, and she was still all smiles.

Realization dawned onto me instantly. I just fucked my best friend dad.

“Hey sis!” She hit my arm. I forced a tight smile.

“How was it?” I asked.

“It was so good!” She was elated. “I think I like him. We kissed.” She whispered the last part in my ears.

They kissed. But I fucked her father while she was away. I was such a bad friend.

“Hmmn… Tell me more about it while we head home,” I replied casually.

“Home? Have you told daddy?”

I am pretty sure he knew I was leaving already.

“Yes,” I answered.

“Okay.” She entangled her arm in mine. Every one of her gestures sent a dangerous reminder to me: I just betrayed my friend.

“His name is Richard, and he is so sweet,” she cooed like a child.

This guy has definitely become my friend.

“Cool,” I muttered as I got into the car.

“He is currently the CEO of Stardom, and he owns other businesses across the country,” she explained further.

“So, he is a millionaire?”

“Yeah, he is, and he is very nice, not cold and arrogant like other rich guys I've seen, he was sweet to everyone, including the waiters and waitresses.”

A good way to remind me that Damian was cold and arrogant.

She continued speaking, she explained every detail of the date, even the kiss they had. I listened to her. We've always listened to one another since we were younger, we never kept secrets.

Guilt crept into my heart. Here she was telling me everything about her date, but I couldn't tell her what I did behind her back.

I didn't even stop Damian from fucking me, I gave in willingly. She would hate me if she ever finds out about what we did.

Damn!

“Laura… Laura,” she called.

“Yes,” I answered.

We've gotten home now, but Brenda was still mumbling some things.

“Did you hear what I said?”

“Ohh… Sorry.”

“You're acting a little off.” She eyed me. “Anyway, I said I'd agree to date him.”

“That's good. Since you like him so much.”

“Yeah, but I am a little scared,” her eyes filled up with uncertainty.

“There is nothing to be scared about, hun. Give it a go, do what your heart wants.”

“Thank you.” She threw me a chef's kiss.

I smiled.

The rest of the night went on quietly. Most of the quietness came from inside my head.

I was torn between emotions. I broke my friend’s trust. Damian hurt me by offering me money for sex, and there was no one I could talk to about this. Everyone would probably judge me.

I do not regret it. I enjoyed every bit of it. Never would I reject what I enjoyed. But I did not like how things were turning out.

I managed to sleep.

I was woken up by the soft ring of my alarm. It was a Monday, and we surely had class.

I did my morning routine, and by 10pm, I was seated in class.

Half of my mind was in the class, but the other half wandered to yesterday’s incident.

The guilt had washed away. Now, I was consumed with want.

I recalled how Damian sucked on my boobs, and how he banged me hard. The way he placed kisses on my body… Everything.

I wanted it again.

Maybe he could bend my ass, and fuck me doggy style. He could thrust into me from behind while I scream out his name.

He changed everything. No one has ever made me feel the way he made me feel yesterday, not even my ex boyfriend — Stephen, who I was madly in love with.

Damian showed me another level of love making. Was that really what it was?

For now, I do not have answers. I have only questions, and I am more than willing to explore.

I might get answers, or I might get fucked like a slut.

“Miss Grey, please explain the thesis, it seems to me you were paying attention,” Prof Anderson’s voice called from the front of the class.

He must have noticed that I wasn't paying attention. I stood up, and I adjusted my clothes. I wasn't bothered. I never act bothered, not even when everything was falling apart.

“Explain?” He repeated.

Brenda’s POV I glared at Laura. I was trying so hard to drag Laura out with me tonight. I practically begged her, but she gave me that tired smile that gets her out of things. “It wasn't planned, Brenda. I don't feel it.” She replied. “I will get you a new bag,” I wiggled my brows at her. “Nah. Don't bribe me,” She said playfully. I looked at her, trying to blink my eyes at her innocently. Laura just wasn't bulging. My other two friends hurried in and held me by the arm. “Come on, Brenda or we are going to be late,” they were pulling me to the door. I poured, begging Laura with my eyes, if she was going to change my mind and follow me to the club, but she just stared and waved as I was dragged out. Minutes later, we arrived at a newly launched club. It was the talk of the city, and people wanted to go there. The music in the club was way too loud. I was sitting, with a drink in my hand, watching people partying and doing all sorts of fun things. “Hmm,” I breathed in, a sub

His head tilted to his side, watching me crawl up towards him. I didn't hesitate. Leaning down, I captured his mouth in a soft kiss, he tried to hasten the pace.I stopped him by pulling away.“Not so fast Daddy,” my soft words seemed to surprise him.Damian’s arched his well shaped eyebrow. “Is that it,” he asked, his chest heaved against mine. His broad hands immediately reached for my waist, his large fingers digging in to pull me down onto his lap and take over.I swung a leg over his lap and straddled his hips, pinning him beneath me. He made to touch me but I grabbed his wrists, guiding his hands

Laura’s POV.When I opened my eyes, followed by a yawn. The early morning brightness filled the room.It took more than a second before I was fully awake. I stared at the white ceiling before looking sideways in search of Damien. I remembered sleeping on his chest.Damian was sitting on the opposite end, his long legs stretched out, back resting against the headboard. He was shirtless, exposing the broadness of his chest, exposing tan, firm skin and the faint trace of dark hair. My eyes caught the tattoo on his arm.He cleared his throat to catch my attention. His dark eyes were heavy, hooded with sleep, but intense enough to send a sharp jolt straight down my spine."Good morning, Laura," he murmured, his voice a low, raspy rumble that sent my core aching and watering."Good morning," I whispered, my throat dry. I pulled the blanket up higher, suddenly aware of my bare legs and our close proximity. "Did you... did you sleep at all?""I don't need much sleep," he replied softly, his

Laura’s POV.I just walked into my cozy little apartment, tired and hungry. I was wondering what I could have for dinner when my phone flashed Damian Steels on the screen, my heart fluttered. His sharp voice sounded over the speaker, carrying a non-negotiable tone that made me weak in the knees.“Step outside. My driver is outside.”I didn't even have time to change my clothes. I just threw on an oversized sweater over my shirt, I grabbed my bag, and went down the stairs of my apartment building.Standing by the curb was a sleek, blacked-out Maybach. The driver opened the rear door silently nodding respectfully as I climbed into the back.I expected the car to head straight toward Steels Tower or his grand city mansion. But as the minutes ticked by, the city lights faded into the background. The concrete streets gave way to dark, tree-lined roads winding deep into the countryside.I wondered where he was taking me?“Where are we going?”Thirty minutes later, the car pulled through a m

  • SWEETLY DANGEROUS    Chapter 18

Damian’s POV It was already eight pm, and the corporation was quiet. Down below, the city lights flickered like a grid of cold diamonds, but up here, in my corner office, there was only silence. I sat behind my massive mahogany desk, tapping a heavy silver pen against the dark wood. I couldn't focus on the financial reports sitting in front of me. Every time I tried to get busy, I didn't see numbers or corporate acquisitions. I saw her. Laura. Her face from the stadium box kept playing on a loop in my mind. The delicate curve of her neck. The way her breath hitched when I leaned in close. The fierce, desperate look in her brown eyes whenever she tried to fight the pull between us. It was getting out of hand. I was forty-eight years old, a man who built an empire on ruthless discipline and cold logic, yet it seemed like I was completely consumed by my daughter’s twenty-one-year-old best friend. A quiet buzz came from the intercom on my desk. "Mr. Steels," my secretary’s voice

  • SWEETLY DANGEROUS    Chapter 17

Laura’s POV.The cold air in the VIP suite suddenly felt far too heavy to breathe.Damian’s presence hit the room like a physical blow. He was sitting right beside me, his tailored dark suit practically brushing my shoulders. His expensive cologne filled my nostrils.I sat still and stiffly to pretend to be alright. My hands shook so hard I had to press my palms flat against my knees just to hide the trembling. He leaned down further. His breath almost brushed the shell of my ear, hot and terrifyingly calm.“Are you okay?” His question sounded like a tease. His voice sends cool shivers between my core."You look tense, Laura," Damian whispered, his voice a low, gravelly purr that only I could hear. "Relax. You look far too pretty to be this terrified of me."A sudden feeling of anger flared in my chest, I turned and glared at him. I ignored my surroundings.Who is Terrified? He treated me like a pawn on a chessboard. He spoke to me like I was something he owned, I didn't like that.“I
