Two days later. In Liyana’s room, she sat down on the bed, putting down her phone and about pulling the duvet up to her shoulders when the door to her room creaked open. She looked at the door and her father walked in.

“Good evening, Dad,” she saluted, sitting back up.

“Good evening, dear,” the father responded, moving closer to the bed. “Why didn’t you come out for dinner?”

“I had gone out with Ayaan, Dad. We had dinner at a restaurant,” she said.

“Liyana, dear, you have to stop seeing Ayaan, okay? You are now the would-be wife of Rayan. Do you understand?”

“The logic is too complicated, Dad. You shouldn’t expect me to understand,” Liyana declared, relaxing back on the bed.

“I know you are very stubborn. You never listen. That’s by the way, I want us to go somewhere tomorrow,” the father set forth.

“Mmm! Where Dad?” she asked.

“Um, one of the Khawaja business clients invited me to a business party at his place
