Chapter Forty-nine

Alice's POV

I stood in front of Bernard, watching him kneel before me with a look of fear in his eyes.

He had challenged me in the meeting, and now he would face the consequences of his actions. I felt disgusted by his lack of respect for not only me but also my men.

"You think you're untouchable, Bernard?" I asked, my voice laced with venom.

"I know of the way you've been treating my men, and the women in this organization. That stops now. I think I have let this go on for too long.."
