"Bitch, aren't you going to school tomorrow as a teacher?" Cyril greeted me when I answered the phone.

Five days have passed. Tomorrow I will go to the school where the son of a demon is studying. It's not obvious at my age. I am 24 and almost three years ago when I finished my college.

"Yes," was my only answer.

I arranged my meal. I pinned the cellphone to my shoulder and to my ear.

"Lucio, why didn't you call yesterday? Why didn't you updated me?"

I heard on the other line the silence. "Hey, I'm asking you."

"W-we have a meeting," he stammered.

I raised an eyebrow. "Meeting your face!" I sighed.

"J-just, you have a lot of questions, just focus on your mission!"

"Will you tell me or I won't answer your calls?" I threatened him.

"Gosh," it's resentment.

I couldn’t help but smile. "I'm waiting, Lucio. 3 minutes."

He was out of breath. "I-I went somewhere," he replied. I could feel the nervousness in his speech.

I finally put the plates down in the sink. I sat down in the chair and put the cellphone in my mouth.

"Where did you go?" I raised an eyebrow at the question.

"A-at..At a party."

My forehead finally wrinkled. "W-What did you say?"

"I-I'm on the party," it repeats what he said.

It looks like he ran away from Ryan again.

I couldn’t help but get bored. "Without telling us?"

"S-sorry," was its weak reply.

Did I get upset because of the annoyance? "When did you learn to break the law, Cyril?"

"I-I'm being careful."

"Even though! You must be telling us because we are your brothers!" this time I could not stop my voice from rising. "What if something bad happens to you?"

"I-I'm sorry. I won't do that it again."

I just gasped. "It just has to."

Silence prevailed again. Until I heard Cyril's voice again.

"How are your neighbors?" he asked.

My eyes rolled again. "Okay, they are very talkative. They almost never miss the story," I replied as if I hadn't been angry a minute a go.

"Bitch, I can imagine your face now! For sure your eyes are rolling again!" he added before letting out a laugh.

I ended the call because of annoyance.

I let out a deep sighed. Later, I will have a little conversation with Wency. She was one of the Perez's former assistants.

They actually know everything. He can almost tell all his experiences. I almost knew the structure of the house of demons. I also found out that my target was staying just across the street. I thought his house was isolated.

I fell asleep for three hours. I looked out my bedroom window. The sky is orange, a sign that the moon is about to set. There are also children playing in the park and what is even more annoying is that their noise reaches from here.

I couldn’t help but be shaken.

It's afternoon.

Aling Wency and her friends are already there.

I am sure.

In the five days that have passed I almost know that this is the time the gossips gather. This is also the time I go down. I don't want to admit it but I'm one of them. Not because of the gossip. But because of the mission I would do.

I adjusted my t-shirt and pajamas.

I wish I didn't go but I still have to do that thing. They had not yet told me about the demon's son. That's all I'm looking forward to so that I can complete my plan for tomorrow.

When I opened the door I immediately saw Mang Allen. It was one of those hanging out in front of Aling Wency's store. It used to be the bodyguard of the perez at the time when this compound had not been made.

"Oh, are you going to Wency?" he immediate asked.

"A-Ah, yes," I replied calmly.

"Come on, it looks like you just woke up," he said as we headed to Aling Wency's store.

"I fell asleep earlier, I have work tomorrow," I replied.

"Where?"

"In ..." I almost froze because I can't remember the school I'm going to go to tomorrow.

"Oh, it's good and you've arrived!" Aling Jennie shouted. Wife of Mang Greg. There are only three of them here.

I breathed a sigh of relief as I avoided Mang Allen's question. Why didn't I remember that school? Gosh, I almost got caught!

Aling Jennie looked behind us. "Wait, where is Liyang?" he asked next to me.

"Still doing laundry." Mang Allen replied.

We finally sat down. I just stared at the kids playing in the park as they continued to chat. I am lazy but I have to endure.

"Yes, you know that's so rude!" I heard Aling Wency shout from inside the store. "I don't know to Sir Jacob, because of the large number of women. The one who will intervene is the one chosen," he added.

I turned to look at them. I seem to be able to hear things that will help me.

"I can't help but feel sorry for the child, he almost lost more time with his child," Aling Jennie interjected. His eyes were still wide open and his fingers were still raised as if explaining.

I turned around when Aling Wency looked at my behavior. "I'm sorry, Mel, it looks like you can't keep up with the story right now," he said.

I was stunned in my mind.

For me, it's ok.

I smiled awkwardly. "It's okay, Aling Wency," I replied. I turned my gaze back to Aling Jennie who was in the other chair.

"That woman is terrible! Cheska was even fired!" Aling Jennie's said was almost loud.

"Why was Cheska fired?" Mang Greg asked.

Aling Jennie raised her finger again. "How, sir just stared at Cheska because Sir's son was crying. Eh, the demon saw it. And charan! She fired her immediately!" Her companions laughed at the way she told her story.

"That boy is unfortunate," Aling Wency whispered.

This time I responded. "J-Jacob already has a child?" I asked even though I already knew the answer. I don't know, but I want to ask a question to further the conversation. More information the better.

My gaze turned to Aling Wency again. "Yes, that boy is only five years old! Believe me, Mel. You'll feel sorry for that boy!" Aling Jennie's hysterical answer.

"That boy hasn't even spoken yet. I think he was traumatized by the death of his mother, but you know what's more annoying to sir? He's going to send his son to school because the interceptor just said that! Think about it! Five, just a five year old? Instead of enjoying toys, they wake up the child every morning to go to school," he added while shaking.

I felt something in my chest.

Sadness.

Mercy is what has formed in my heart.

He was too young to experience that. He was too young to see his mothers dead body. But anyway, it looks like he will forget that one day.

That Jacob is really very demonic.

The moon already showed in the sky. I decided to go home to get ready tomorrow.

*****

I just opened a can and ate the rice. When I finished I immediately went to the bedroom. I took the paper that Ryan gave me before I left the corporation.

Just like the previous days I looked at this again. It's just near the school I'm going to tomorrow. And it looks like I'm going to get something good this week.

My cellphone rang. I immediately picked it up and answered.

"Uncle is telling you something," Cyril's began.

I frowned at what he said. "Why didn't he say that?" I wondered.

"I don't know about that bitch. Lots of orders! He thought he owned everything in the corporation!"

"Your mouth, Lucio."

"I-i'm sorry."

"What is he trying to say?"

"Your mission has been updated for three months,"

"H-Huh?"

"You've need to finish your mission for three months. Uncle's client seems to be in a hurry."

"Damn them," I irritably reply. "Who is that client? I looked for it in the folder but I couldn't really find it," I added.

"That's another one of the troublemakers in my mind," he weakly said. "Let me, I'll investigate that too."

*****

I woke up early because of the incessant sound of the cellphone. I want to deatroy it for cutting into my happy dream

"Remind me now that you're my brother," I said to Cyril.

"Bitch! Don't hit me! Get ready to catch Jacob's car leaving!"

I came back to sanity. I suddenly lost sleep over what I heard from him.

I got up from the bed. "I'm going to take a shower, have breakfast," I said before finally turning off the call.

It was still dark outside. You can see from here in my room the twinkling lights of the stately houses in the subdivision of the demons.

I immediately took a shower. I rubbed my body. When I was satisfied with myself, I immediately looked in the bathroom mirror.

My hair is a bit long. I have a sharp nose, thin lips but I am proud becaus its super red. I look like a woman. I look like Mom. That's why I didn't often use my make-up kit back then in my previous missions because just wearing a wig was okay.

I immediately went out of the bathroom. I got dressed right away. There is a clothes placed in my cabinet that is separate from my mission's clothes. There is also a note that reads "School Attire." A teacher's uniform.

I just finished quickly. Fortunately, I prepared yesterday  the ones I will use today. I locked the house. I went to the side of the park where my e-bike was parked. Well it was delivered the other day by Ryan. I didn't send the motor I'm using. I returned the car to headquarters.

It's just their fault. How do I pretend if I have a car? What will they think? That I put buying a car before saving to buy a house? They will surely be surprised.

When I got on the e-bike I immediately put the earpiece on my ear. I pressed it before putting on the helmet.

"Bitch, soon, four cars will come out," Cyril opened up to me.

I picked up my cellphone. I pretended to be typing there. Moments later I saw the gate open. My brother was right. Four vehicles came out. It is consistent in color.

"I thought the son of the demon Jacob was alone?" I asked in surprise before starting the engine.

"You're really stupid, brother! It's probably first day of school today!" he growl.

I would have answered but the four cars started moving.

"Bitch, stay behind from them," Cyril said on the other line.

As it said I distanced myself. I walked away. Just enough for me to look at them.

"Lucio, tell me about the school I'm going to today," I said while still staring at the cars.

I keep following them. I hid in some cars with me. I had to be careful because there were still very few cars on the road. The sun was starting to peek out so I could breathe the very fresh air.

"It's just a small school for kindergartens. But don't, because everyone who studies there is rich. Almost everyone is the son of the owners of big companies. It's good that Uncle has a allies so you were admitted.

I couldn’t help but be embarrassed. "So, I'm going to teach children?"

"Probably! You're really stupid, aren't you?"

It was only a matter of time before cars stopped in a building. It's three floors and it's almost too painful to the eye of the design. Purely childish. The paint is still pink and blue. There were scattered ribbons and different kind of animals.

I heard laughter on the other line. "Bitch, I know you're annoyed but you need to get down," she said and laughed again.

I was getting off the e-bike when I saw a man get off.

The heat rose in my body again. Anger welled up in my chest again. I form a fist on my hand.

He was wearing a black shirt. That was tucked-in to his black pants. Soon a boy came down as well. It has a white skin and he almost only reached his father's thigh.

I get upset when I saw him. He is no longer the same as the picture in the folder. It has almost no mustache.

Because of that, I saw again the face of the man standing in front of my dead mother.

The man looking at mama's bloody body.

Four years have passed but his face still hasn’t changed.

Demon, still a demon.
