"I don't understand you, Delton. Please enlighten me," I admitted, confused.

I understand the language, but my mind doesn't seem to want to accept what I heard. I don't know, but I feel bad about it.

"My parents are kind, Delton. They won't hurt others—"

"That's what you know, of course," he cut my words.

He laughed softly, as if he couldn't believe we were talking about this.

"They are your parents, Savvy. Of course, they will shower you with love and affection. They will give everything to you and they will protect you at all costs, even if that means ruining other people's lives," he
