Penelope glanced around self-consciously after getting called out. When she saw that no one was passing by and there were no cameras rolling, she finally let out a quiet breath of relief.

She stomped her foot and gritted her teeth as she warned, "Jacklyn, keep your mouth shut if you don't have evidence to back it up, or I'll sue you for defamation."

Jacklyn just shrugged indifferently. "You think I'm scared of you?"

The fierceness in her stance forced Penelope back a step. "You! Let's see how long you can stay so smug!"

After Penelope stormed off, Jacklyn turned to Romy, her expression serious. "Do you know her?"

Romy was confused, too. Shaking her head, she answered, "I never met her before the show."

Jacklyn continued to stare at Penelope's retreating figure as thoughts churned in her head. She couldn't help but feel that something was off about her today.
