Chapter 34

"Luna."

Ken helped me down from the rock and gently slapped me on the cheek twice. His expression was terrified. My heart began to beat usually again after the burning sensation of being burned by fire faded.

I looked at Ken, who gripped my arm tightly. I winced in pain and asked him to let go of my hand. Ken apologized and asked what had happened. I can hear his voice now.

I looked up at the moon, which was still brightly shining. Is my body on fire as a result of the full moon's rays?
