“Honestly, we do not need it,” Agatha said, “and since you were hurt we thought that it could help you heal some. If it doesn’t help you heal, it will at least allow you some additional protection.”

Before Emily could ask her next question Gabriel asked, “Would this hurt or change her? I do not want her to become something dark or chance anything that would hurt her.”

“Absorbing the energy will not hurt her,” Angela said. “It will actually help her and she should heal on up even with the unknowns with her injury. They were able to pull or block much of her own energy with the wound as well as severing her bond with Rica and you. I do not know if this will restore the bonds, but it will at least help her body heal and get her on the right track.”
