Her possessive declaration filled my mind, replaying over and over like a broken record. I paced back and forth in my room letting the memory of her teeth in my skin take over.

“I told you to call it off countless times but you wouldn’t listen to me. Maybe you’ll listen to our mate,” Ky’s mocking voice interrupted hers for a split second.

“I can’t call it off just because she asked me to. There are more than a thousand things wrong with her. She can’t hunt, she doesn’t have one combat bone in her tiny body,”

“I can tell you what she has though. She has a Luna bone!”
