I get situated in the room across from Penelope. Jack had to patrol tonight because one of our patrollers ended up being out because of his mate having a baby. It makes me wonder when Jack and I will take that step.

We’ve been mated for over a year, almost 2 years now, but we knew each other our entire lives and have always been close. So, it’s not like we’re still in a ‘getting to know you’ phase, we're not even in a 'honeymoon' stage anymore. We always felt attracted to one another, and although I would let no one else know this, we fooled around a bit. My brother would have a cow if he knew what me and Jack did as teenagers.

I’m not in a rush for us to have a family, though. I enjoy the time we have that's just the two of us. I think it's a natural instinct and desire to want a baby. But with us being the Beta couple of the Moon Stone Pack, we have a lot of responsibilities and having a baby would make things more difficult.
