I was beyond exhausted as Zara and I climbed the stairs to my room in the pack house. I had kept this room since my teenage years and continued to spend more time here than in the mansion, even after inheriting it from my parents. However, when Zara came into my life, I had to hide her in my room until she was feeling better and ready to interact with the rest of the pack.
Now, everything has fallen into place and I plan on spending more time at the pack house. It's easier for me to manage the daily activities of the pack from here, and it also allows me to be more accessible to my subordinates.

Zara'S POV We spent the night at the pack house. I used to think that it would be noisy and pretty busy but the opposite was the case, it was pretty quiet and I liked staying here immediately. The first night I spent at the pack house was lovely, the next morning I could not resist playing in the snow. I have always had a soft spot for the flakes as they fell from the sky but in my former pack, I was not allowed any free time and could only appreciate nature from my window corner in the basement.
