Lainey grew up on a horse farm. Drew was the head trainer’s son. He only wanted to marry Lainey to get control of the horse farm. Shortly after they were married her dad had a farm accident. The tractor rolled over on him killing him. Her mom had divorced her dad when Lainey was 5. She didn't take Lainey with her and her dad raised her.

He started to be verbally abusive. She finds out he's cheating on her. Then learns he had been responsible for her dad's accident so she runs.

She finds herself at the women's shelter Sierra Sanctuary.

Here's her story.

Lainey had just woken up. She got dressed and went down to make breakfast and to see what her dad was doing. She went looking for her dad all around the house and noticed that he was outside. So, she got her shoes on and went outside.

"Good morning dad." Lainey smiled.

"Good morning honey." Her dad replied.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Just checking on the horses and getting them fed. Would you care to help your old man?" He asked
