CHAPTER 698

“What’s with all the ruckus so early in the morning?” Jacob asked from the first floor while putting the buttons on his sleeves. “This isn't a fish market.”

“Father-in-law,” Elizabeth quickly said, “this fucker just tore my dress into two pieces.”

“Why?” Jacob came down the stairs in a calm, confident manner. “Why would you tear a lady’s dress?”

“She said she won’t use it anymore,” Benjamin said. “That’s why I split it. I’m going to cut it into more pieces. They can be used to clean the kitchen.”

“C-Clean the kitchen?” Elizabeth’s blood curdled. “That dress was worth 12,000 dollars! It’d take your donkey face months of working to be able to buy that!”

“I don’t get it,” Benjamin calmly said. “Rebecca can make much better designs than these. And you don’t even need to pay, so why aren’t you asking her to make some clothes for you?”
