1. Hiding The Real Face!

Author's POV

"Skyler!... I Think it's enough for today... Donna was looking for you... I lied that you are not in the mansion..."

Skyler's best friend, max who is soon going to be his right hand man said.

Skyler was busy in punching the shit out of his uncle's face. Decades has been passed still Skyler couldn't forget how his so called Uncle, Henry tried to kill his mother, he has taken the role of his father. Whenever he is free, he comes to the basement and take out his anger on Henry. Henry was begging for death everyday, praying to God to take his soul from his broken body.

His mother, Sarah has no idea that her brother is still alive and getting tortured by her son and husband everyday. Skyler's father, Xavier lied that he has killed Henry and decided to make Henry's Life worse than hell, Skyler was more than happy to carry forward his legacy. 

Skyler stepped back with heavy sigh, he washed his hands in the corner which has rusty tab. He wiped his hands with handkerchief and fixed his raven black hair.

"Fuck, I almost forgot the time... Why mom is looking for me?..."

He asked max. 

"I don't know but she was sounding worried.."

Max replied. 

Skyler nodded and walked out of the basement making sure that his fancy suit has no blood on it, Sarah doesn't like blood. Skyler was exactly like his father, same blue eyes and same face. He looks like young Xavier. Skyler is 28 years old, decades has been passed and he has changed completely. He isn't the same innocent Skyler of childhood but for his mother he was same. With time Skyler adopted the dark side of Xavier, he started enjoying the blood and pain of people. Xavier realized it in skyler's early childhood and trained Skyler before he gets out of his hands. He recognised the potential of Skyler and didn't let it go in vain. 

Skyler is well aware of his mother's condition, Sarah is not well. Neither mentally nor physically. Skyler consider himself lucky that he still gets to see her face everyday. He doesn't show his dark side to his mother, if anyone can control the beast inside him then it's Sarah. Skyler has very bad anger issues. He has successfully hide his sins from his mother, she doesn't know that Skyler kills people. She thinks that he is only involved in Xavier's business. 

Neither Skyler nor Xavier has told her the truth. 

"Sky?"

He halted in his place when he heard his mother Sarah. He turned around and smiled at her. Like max said she had worried look in her amber eyes. Skyler admires his mother as a person, she is kind unlike him and his father. 

"Mom?... What happened?"

He got alert as he sensed the trouble.

"Where were you?... Why are you coming from the basement?... Why your phone was off?..."

She bombarded him with questions. Sarah is still scared of the thought that her innocent son will turn into monster. Only if she knew...

"Mom relax... Yes, I was in the basement"

He held her arms gently, she saw him coming out of the basement there was no use of lying. 

"But I was there to check The security and nothing else, as you know we have installed the new security technology, right?..."

But he didn't tell the truth too.

Sarah looked at his clothes suspiciously but Skyler is too smart to get caught like this. 

"Mom, don't you trust me?"

He looked at her sadly. 

Max raised his eyebrows seeing how easily Skyler can play innocent card and manipulate people. Sometimes he couldn't recognise his own friend. Sometimes Skyler act like totally different person and that's the only thing which scars max, like he is dealing with multiple personalities. 

Sarah shook her head guiltily.

"No champ... I__ you know I can't think straight when it's about you... Sorry..."

She said and Skyler smiled hiding his smirk behind it. 

"Why were you looking for me?"

He asked. 

Sarah raised her eyebrows in panic.

"Ohh, No!... Come with me, before your father comes here to get you..."

Sarah grabbed Skyler's hand and led him towards her personal library.

"Mom, what's going on?..."

Skyler frowned at her behavior, she never hides from Xavier and it was making Skyler worried for her. 

Sarah closed the door of the Library and looked at him. 

"Come sit..."

Skyler sat down on the sofa and Sarah sat beside him.

"Champ..."

She held his hands gently. Skyler usually gets annoyed if someone calls him champ but he couldn't stop his mother from calling him that. 

"You know how much I love you, right?"

Skyler squeezed her hands assuringly.

"I know mom... Now, can you tell me what's bothering you?..."

He asked.

Sarah released a big sigh.

"I always wanted you to be happy and safe. I have always wished a good life for you and that's why I tried to keep you away from the violence..."

Skyler sensed the worry in her voice. For a second he thought that she knows that he is involved in killing too.

"Mom, I am not doing anything wrong. You know I won't hurt any innocent person..."

"I know..."

Sarah replied.

"I know sky... And I am proud of you for that..."

If someone else would have been in skyler's place then he would have felt guilty but Skyler didn't. He was internally smirking that his real face is still hidden from his lovely mother. 

"And I want you to live your life like this, with peace and love."

Sarah continued.

"Sky, love is very important in life. I have experienced how much it can damage someone if there is no affection..."

Skyler sighed, he has no energy to tell her that he doesn't want love in his life. He thinks of it as a weakness and destruction. If tried to tell her then it will hurt her feelings. 

"I understand mom..."

He agreed with her. Sarah smiled gently.

"No matter what your father says but I want you to marry with love of your life. Marriage isn't any business deal, champ... Love is very important in marriage... I don't care how much it's needed for the business but I won't let you stand on the aisle if you don't love the bride..."

Her voice turned mad at the end.

"And who is getting married?"

Skyler frowned. He has no idea what's going on.

"You!... Xavier is planning your marriage. And I am not with him in this matter. I want you to be happy that's it..."

She replied. 

Skyler clenched his jaw. Love is whole other thing, he can't even imagine himself to be tied to someone for entire life. The idea staying with someone for entire life disgust him.

"You don't have to worry about it mom... I'll talk to dad..."

Skyler assured her. 

"But he is not listening... I don't know what's has taken over him. He is acting weird now a days..."

She released a defeated sigh. 

They both heard loud knock on the door and Sarah Panicked.

"Oh my god, he is here..."

"Mom!"

Skyler tried to calm her down. He is aware that small things can make her panic and she gets stressed very easily. 

"You are not getting married without love, that's it..."

She stated. 

"Yes, I understood... Now relax..."

He assured her. Skyler stood up and walked towards the door. 

He opened the door revealing mad Xavier. Even if he is getting old, he still has that dangerous aura around him which can make anyone piss in their pants. He stood there like a big mountain, holding stern look on his face. 

Xavier looked at Sarah and she looked away madly.
