12. Shopping!

Author's POV

Rosetta was struggling to get up, her legs literally felt paralyzed after workout. 

Rose saw it and knelt in front of her. 

"These things I am teaching you are easy to learn for you Rosa, what difficult is taking the pain. You have to learn how to conquer your pain... When you will be in fight, defeated on the field, no will come to help you. You shouldn't expect that from anyone.  Make your pain your power. Fall in love with it... You have to do it if you want to become better than others... Get up, your fiance is waiting for you..."

She patted her head and left the training hall. 

Rosetta moaned in pain but stood up with the help of wall. She was totally agree with her mother. Her respect for her mother increased afte realising that she has been through worst that this pain. 

She walked towards her room with great difficulty. She stripped under the shower and saw few blue and purple marks on her shoulder and arms which she got from her mother. She turned on the shower and let her body relax under hot water. It was giving relief to her sore muscles. 

She took her time to tame her pain and after that it was easy to walk properly but pain was still there. 

Rosetta changed into comfortable white hoodie and jeans. She walked downstairs towards dining hall where Skyler and her mom was discussing something. They stopped when they saw Rosetta. 

"You guys can have your breakfast, I'll take your leave..."

Rose stood up and smiled at Rosetta. She can see that she is doing great and trying to control her pain.

"Bye beautiful"

Skyler winked playfully at Rose and she shook her head chuckling. 

Rosetta sat in front of Skyler and started eating her breakfast silently. She was in no mood to talk neither she had any topic to discuss with him.

Skyler was looking at her, trying to judge her. He was expecting her to talk about last night but she didn't.

"If you are done then can we leave now?"

He asked after few minutes and Rosetta nodded, wiping her hands with napkin. 

They walked outside towards his car. Rosetta's legs were still sore, she stumbled forward and Skyler quickly caught her. 

"The fuck are you doing?"

He cursed, holding her tightly by waist. 

Rosetta quickly composed herself and removed his hands from her waist.

"I am fine... Thanks..."

She replied and turned around to open the car door. 

Skyler clenched his jaw at her dry behavior. 

He grabbed her arm and turned her around making her frown.

"Listen if you are behaving like this because of last night then you have no right... We have discussed this shit before..."

Skyler said madly. 

"What about last night?"

She asked confused. Because of Vlad she completely forgot that she saw Skyler in that condition. 

"You saw me in VIP area, I am talking about that..."

He Scowled.

"You ignored me when I tried to approach you..."

Then she realised that he is talking about that.

"Yes about that... I am sorry I totally forgot about that..."

She replied and Skyler frowned at her careless behavior. 

"I was drunk and confused may be that's why I ignored you, I had no idea you that were approaching me... And I don't care Skyler, do whatever you want. It's your life. I am no one to judge. Why would I care?"

She shrugged. 

Skyler frowned.

"You don't care if I date or fuck other woman?"

"No, it's none of my business..."

She replied tiredly. 

Skyler couldn't understand why her answer was making him more mad. He was expecting her reaction and argument but she gives no fucks. 

"Good... Let's go..."

He sulked and couldn't understand why. 

Rosetta sat in the car beside Skyler and driver started driving. She wanted to finish shopping as soon as possible and rest until next task. She successfully completed the task but it was draining her all energy. 

After one hour they finally reached the Shop, it was huge showroom for bridal accessories. 

They both went inside and manager quickly greeted them.

"Welcome sir, miss... First of all heartily congratulations to both of you... Please come inside..."

Skyler's phone rang and he looked at Rosetta. 

"Take whatever you want... I'll be back..."

He said and excused himself. 

"Miss, please this way. I'll show you our exclusive collection..."

The manager said. 

"No need..."

Rosetta said boringly. She chose random dress which were hanging beside her. 

"I'll take this..."

"Don't you want to try It?..."

He asked and she shook her head. 

She did the same with heels and all staff looked at her weirdly. 

"You can see the couple ring collection until mr. King comes back..."

The manager suggested.

He showed her the rings and she randomly picked one pair. 

Skyler was still busy on the phone.

"Cancel today's meeting, she will probably take whole day..."

Skyler ordered max.

"I'll talk to you later..."

He disconnected the call and turned around. Rosetta was coming towards him.

"It's done... Drop me home..."

She said and he frowned.

"Done?... It's only five minutes that we have come here... What did you exactly chose?..."

He asked confused. 

"Dress, shoes and Rings... What else?"

She asked confused. 

"Impossible... Let me see what you have done..."

He grabbed her hand and dragged her inside making her huff. She wanted to go home. 

"Show me the things she has chosen"

He ordered the manager. 

They quickly kept all things in front him and Skyler looked at Rosetta in disbelief.
