13. Who Did This?

"Show me the things she has chosen"

Skyler ordered the manager. 

They quickly kept all things in front him and Skyler looked at Rosetta in disbelief.

"This?"

He said with shocked face and Rosetta looked at him confused but nodded in response. 

He picked up the dress and inspected it. 

"This rag!... Rosa our maids wear better clothes than this..."

He shook his head in disapproval. 

He looked at the heels and Scowled. 

"It's not even matching with the dress..."

He opened the Ring box and sighed.

"You have terrible choice..."

He looked at her disappointed. It was plain ring with no diamonds or design. 

"I chose you for marriage..."

She said nonchalantly and he raised his eyebrows. 

"Really?..."

He took step forward.

"So you are telling me that I am a terrible choice..."

Rosetta stepped back not wanting to repeat last time's scene. His touch does something to her which is very confusing. 

Skyler wrapped her hand around her waist and dragged her closer.

"You didn't answer me"

He whispered challenging her with his eyes. 

Rosetta cleared her throat awkwardly.

"It's not that bad... I like simple things..."

She removed his hand from her body and stepped back.

Skyler quickly composed himself realising all staff is watching them with wide eyes.

"Show me your exclusive collection..."

Skyler ordered the manager and he quickly complied. 

"I understand your simple choice but our wedding is not simple... You should go with the theme and its royal..."

Skyler said grabbing her hand and led her towards another Room. Rosetta sighed, she was tired and needed rest. 

He sat on the couch and Manager himself started showing him his best collection. 

Skyler looked at all the dresses which were showcased on mannequin.

"Try 1st one..."

Skyler said to Rosetta and she closed her eyes frustratingly. At this point she was regretting for saying yes to marriage. She was annoyed. 

She went to the changing room and wore her 1st dress, it was mermaid dress with deep cleavage and full sleeves.

She walked out and stood in front of Skyler. 

"I like this one..."

She said with intention to finish it quickly. 

Skyler looked at her cleavage and shook his head. 

"No..."

"Why?"

She frowned. 

"Because full sleeves are not suiting you..."

He lied not wanting to tell her the real reason. 

"I don't mind it..."

She shrugged.

"It's not according to theme..."

He argued back. 

Rosetta sighed and went back, after rejecting fifteen dresses he finally approved the last one. It was ball gown which was sparkling under bright lights. It was showing little cleavage with heart-shape neck. It had long Vail. 

"It's too heavy... I won't be comfortable..."

"Nonsense... It's perfect. It's a matter of few hours... You should take this one..."

Skyler suggested and stood up. 

His eyes wasn't leaving her, she was looking like royal princess. 

Rosetta wasn't in mood of changing again.

"Fine, I'll take this..."

She agreed and he smiled. 

"Show her shoes..."

He ordered the staff. 

She was again about to choose simple and comfortable one but Skyler stopped her. 

"No, it's too simple..."

"Skyler, it won't be visible from this dress..."

Rosetta replied. 

"So?... It's my wedding and my bride should be perfect... Don't you know that I was about to kidnap you in the childhood so I could marry you..."

He chuckled and Rosetta's eyes snapped towards him. 

"Show me something else, it won't work..."

He ordered the manager. 

"You what?"

She frowned.

"Yeah, I wanted to marry your mother, I was impressed with her when I was five years old... But your father stole her from me so my father promised me that we will kidnap Rose's daughter and then I can marry her..."

He smiled at the old sweet memories. 

Rosetta couldn't help but chuckle. Skyler looked at her smile adoringly, for a moment he was lost in it. Till now he had no idea that one smile can make such a big difference. Her smile was enhancing her beauty. 

"Miss, please try this... I am sure you will love it..."

The manager came back with big golden box. 

His voice snapped Skyler out of his daze, he cleared his throat and touched his forehead in disbelief. 

'what the fuck I am doing?'

He cursed internally. 

The manager opened the box and revealed beautiful heels which were decorated with diamonds. It was actually made up of glass. 

"No!..."

Rosetta declared.

"Yes!"

Skyler interrupted. 

"It won't be comfortable at all... It's made up of glass..."

She argued. 

"It will be totally comfortable miss, it's made for that... Don't worry, I assure you... If it hurt your legs then I will return all the money."

The manager assured and Rosetta controlled herself from punching his nose, he was just wanted to sell his expensive products. 

"Try it"

Skyler Smirked at her. 

"How?"

She rolled her eyes, she was holding her gown up with both hands. 

Skyler sighed. He made her sit on the chair and knelt in front of her.

"You don't have to, I'll do it by myself..."

She protested. 

"Just hold this up..."

He gathered her dress and placed it in her hands. 

"Wow, he is so romantic... This girl is so lucky."

She heard one of the female staff fangirling. 

"I wish I could get someone like him."

Skyler placed her foot in shoe and she flinched, it got injured while fighting with vlad. Skyler inspected her feet and saw her injured toe, he could see it wasn't tamed. Her feet was swollen too. 

"Who did this to you?"

Skyler frowned and looked at her confused.

She noticed the hint of anger in his voice.
