Wyatt was surprised at how good his day was going. When Milly had invited him to meet her family, he had been nervous. Ever since he had met her, when she had stolen his breath away along with his heart. Things had just been amazing. He had never thought someone like her would accept a request to go on a date with someone like him. But the lovely Bella had been unusually persistent that he should ask Milly out. When he had, and she had excepted, everything had just continued moving forward between them. She had been open about her past, that she was spending time with the Blackfurs to get a new start after a tough period in her life, ending in her starting to experiment with drugs. Wyatt had no problem telling her he wasn’t bothered by her past. Despite not knowing her for long, he felt like he knew who she was. And he had no doubt in his mind she was sincere when she told him she had left it all behind her.
