Chapter 5

After the wedding the couple moved to the countries top most luxurious 7 star hotel owned by Blacks for their reception. They had an hour to relax before the reception start officially hence both the bride and groom retired to their respective rooms to get fresh up and do some touch up.

Finally the reception beginned all prominent figures of the countries grazed their presence blessing and congratulating the couple. Alexander eyes was constantly searching for his grandpa as per as he know today will be happiest day for that old man as his long term wish is fulfilled but he is no where to be seen in the function which doesn't fit his nature. Also he had some strange unsettling feeling in his chest so he asked one of his bodyguards to go and check on Franklin.

A few moments, later the bodyguard came running drenched in his sweat and said something in his ears on hearing that Alexander expression changed and atmosphere in the hall drastically changed. He immediately pushed the bodyguard aside and ran towards his grandpa's suit. The Black's couple along with Rose ran after Alex with a confused and worried faces followed by White's couple and Jenny White.

Alexander was stunned by the scene in his grandpa private duplex suit. He is lying in the pool of his blood immediately he rushed him to hospital ordering the bodyguard to thoroughly check the suit for anything suspicious and also to look into security camera footages as this is Blacks private suit and it's equipment with cameras literally everywhere other than bedrooms and bathrooms. He left Jason behind to monitor and overlook the activities here as he can't afford to trust anyone.

Franklin was literally on the verge of death when they arrived at the hospital. His head was bleeding like anything which changed Alex white shirt into blood red. The doctors immediately rushed Franklin into the ICU for treatment. Everyone was waiting at the hospital corridor for the doctor to say that Franklin is alright. Suddenly a loud sob shifted Alex attention from the ICU the door to the tiny figure crying her eyes out for her grandpa. Rose was not able to handle the sudden turn of events Franklin was no lesser than George to her over the years Rose received unconditional love and support from Franklin even though they are not related by blood their love and bond cant be valued less than the actual grandfather and grand daughters love and affection.

Seeing Rose crying on his mother's shoulder Alex felt something moved inside him by then the door to ICU was opened. " Doctor how is my grandfather?" Old Masters back head is heavily damaged by the fall causing huge blood loss. We need to perform a surgery on him immediately we need young master to sign this critical notice form to proceed further informed the doctor. Alexander signed the form and they all waited for the surgery to complete.

It's not even two years completed since he lost his baby brother within that another important person of his family is fighting with death. He and his family will not be able to handle another loss. Suddenly the ringing of mobile interrupted Alex's thoughts upon answering the call he immediately moved out "Alex where are you going now? Don't worry mom I will be back shortly and nothing will happen to Grandpa. It's really important and I need to go now" stating such he left the hospital in a hurry.

At the hotel, Alexander arrived at his grandpa suit after receiving a call from Jason. Jason who was sitting in the coach upon noticing Alex arrived stated "Shit Alex, thank God you came I was going crazy with all the findings, come and have a look" Alex sat on the coach and focused his attention on the security footage playing on the laptop in front of them.

On the video Franklin can be seen sitting in the first floor living area of his duplex suit which is dimly lit, there was some photos in his hand and his facial expression showed confusion and worry suddenly some noise was heard confirming the presence of someone but unfortunately the person's face was not clearly visible due to the camera angle as her back was facing the camera and only a slight glimpse of slide profile of the face can be seen but nevertheless the figure and the wedding dress of the person confirmed their suspension of that somebody as Rose.

On seeing the person Franklin's expression changed from worry to extreme anger he was like a volcano ready for eruption. "You.. what's all this? Who gave you the nerve to backstab and plot against BLACKS? Do you think it's easy to fool me?? oh my God I can't believe you being this much vicious and characterless at this young age?"

A evil laughter interrupted Franklin's voice, "hahahaa stop shouting you old hag I am really tired with this endless drama of acting innocent and lovable I can't continue this anymore. Also you did wrong by knowing about my real face inviting your own death. As now I'm married to your precious grandson I don't need you anymore... goto hell.." saying this the figure suddenly pushed the old man right from the first floor making him to hit the ground in a brutal way. Later the figure collected all the photos scattered on the ground and left the place immediately by covering her face leaving the old man to die.

Alexander saw all red by knowing about the true face of Rose. It's true he never loved her but at the same time he didn't expected her to be this much evil. "Look this bracelet was found under the couch of first floor I damn sure that it belonged to Rose as I saw her wearing this in the wedding, I think it has fallen off her hand while she pushed grandpa. Also there is more to it have a look of these photos which we found from Rose room it's clear that she tired to kill grandpa for this photos."
