Rose slowly opened her eyes, her head pounding and her body aching. As her vision adjusted to the dimly lit room, she realized she was in a basement. The musty smell, damp walls, and lack of natural light confirmed her suspicions. She tried to sit up, only to find herself restrained to a hospital bed by handcuffs.

She was in excruciating pain and felt completely helpless. She couldn't believe that the man she had admired and respected had done this to her.
