Whether it was luck or a coincidence, neither of them turned in his direction, so Jefferson remained where he was, occasionally checking at those walking apart.

Only six of them and Jefferson left, and they had fifty minutes left. Jefferson bit his lip, his face crumpled, realizing there wasn't much time left.

They split up into small groups of two people, and two groups walked towards the main hall; maybe they wanted to search the other side of the market. They seemed sure that Jefferson had run away because they sent more people there. And after reaching the main hall, they would probably split up, one group going to the right side and one to the left side.

While the other two were searching this area, they started walking opposite Jefferson's position, heading towards the main exit and the guard on the stairs.
