Janet's heart thudded so hard she thought she was having a heart attack, her mouth went dry and her nerves sky rocketed. Janet stared longingly at the man who just had a disappointed scorn on his face, he arched his brow expectantly, awaiting her response. She looked down, clearing her throat.

What could she possibly say that would make sense?

Whatever excuse she thought of just made her sound dumber, Janet knew someone set her up; but right now, the way the color drained from her face made her seem like the culprit.
