The day had finally come - or rather the dreaded week. Midterm examinations. The week students actually picked up their books, cramming their life's out. Janet would have been frantically cramming as well, even though she had read. But right now, she was still on cloud nine.

Derek kept his promise, he texted her when he could, which was after she had gone home. She didn't want to tell him about her encounter with Pedro, she wasn't even sure if it was the same Pedro or just a creep trying to get her number.

They spoke through out the day. Heck she didn't even remember what they spoke about, she just recalled giggling and chatting with him over the phone until her parents called her down for some family time. She still found a way to sneak in a text or two.

She was obsessed with what they had going on.
