LOGINOrion ended the call abruptly. He had experienced a whole lot of charade but this one was me and he wouldn't lie to himself by saying that this wasn't weird for him.
She was a dog with a bone.
His phone buzzed the next waking moment, reminding him of the next move.
*"Mr. Johnathan Chase, set for a luncheon."*
It was crazy for all of them to think that setting up something was disastrous as this was going to get him in his feelings or make me do something that he shouldn't.
He had only one thing to do and there was nothing that could stop him from actualizing whatever he had already planned.
His next move was easy, Jonathan was trying to send a message that he was not affected by the latest happenings but he knew his brother well enough to know that he was indeed destabilized.
Now the ever stubborn Samantha, had miraculously decided that she wanted nothing to do with his wealth when he wanted also nothing but to spoil her with the good things of life.
How dare she think I should call the shots?
His phone buzzed, a little bit too arrogantly for his liking and he would have wanted nothing but sort out the latest issues without compounding more problems for himself.
How on earth was he supposed to go on with the latest respite if he couldn't even work something out?
He swiped across his tablet screen, realizing that he had been sent a message for one of the people that he wasn't on good terms with.
Clarissa's text stood proudly on his screen. "I hear that you of all people have gotten married."
How dare she contact him after all this while?
What was she hoping was going to happen?
Orion's face contorted in anger. She was here to cause nothing but disaster.

A few more minutes later he was heading into the elevator of the company. He couldn't take any days off for honeymoon like he had done with Samantha.
The entire weight of the world rested on his shoulders.
His employees looked at him differently as soon as he walked in. "Good morning sir, congratulations on your new..."
The raise of his eyebrows shut them up immediately letting them realize that there was no need for them to continue on that path.
As soon as he turned his back, whispers surged. Quiet enough for them not to land into trouble, but just loud enough for them to express their ire.
"Why doesn't he want to be congratulated? For a man of his caliber, I'm surprised that he didn't have a huge wedding." Salma, one of the guys in marketing, spoke.
A snicker broke out between them.
"What is crazy is that you think that he's going to be a little bit happy with whatever he has but I think that one way or the other he is allergic to excitement. No one can tell me anything other than that." Godiva laughed again.
They were dancing with the possibility of being fired but they would rather have it that way.
The weirdest part of the entire discussion was the fact that they knew the consequences but they were willing to go with it and see where it was going to land them.
"I'm sure you already have a job somewhere else and that's why you're contemplating the life of a billionaire instead of thinking about the things that you are currently facing." Ethan, the managing director spoke.
Everyone's scrambled to their seats, while still speaking glasses at each other and having inside jokes.
Ethan shook his head. He was tired of begging on behalf of men that did not even want to be freed.
It was almost like they had a kick out of acting crazy and he wasn't going to be the one to stop their craziness instead he was going to spur them on and watch them get fired.
"If you know what's good for you you would abandon those silly thoughts you have in mind and focus on what you need to do."
Orion entered his office, feeling a little bit weird. Surprisingly he wanted Samantha to be present. He could make one call and she will come running, but not to her detriment.
Slotting in his key card, he headed to a seat.
There was only a little that a man could take before he finally decided to rebel and do the things that he had in mind all along.
The need for you to keep showing up when things were not even going as planned was not something that he wanted to be overwhelmed with.
His fingers itched to release a statement that was permanently going to destabilize Jonathan's company but he wanted to bide his time.
Jonathan was expecting him to react with violence the especially going on the news and spewing trash when asked questions but he wasn't going to play that dirty game.
Jonathan would have to do more to get him out of the state that he currently was.
A few minutes later and after answering many calls and given his verdict on issues he decided to let out some steam.
He wasn't done with his thoughts when he received a buzz from his secretary. "Sir, you have a visitor."
Downing his glass of martini, he responded instantly. "Who is it?"
"Miss Clarissa."
Could he just stop having one moment of annoyance throughout today?
She was definitely trying to get on his nerves.
Just before he could give the response he heard the door clicking open.
"Hey, baby, I'm sorry for barging in. If you would have taken your calls you would have seen my message." Clarissa called excitedly.
He wanted nothing more than to bash her face against the wall. “Why did you come here?”
Clarissa removed her white trench coat, revealing her lacy lingerie “I wore this specially for you, do you like it?”
His phone buzzed again, “Sir, Mrs. Sharpe is on her way.” His secretary's voice resounded through the intercom.
The sound of heels clicking close to him was enough to make sure that everyone present had a feel that somebody was trying to make a statement.Samantha rarely crossed over the edge to speak to Orion except it was for business purposes after realizing that her attraction to him was going to be the death of her and she needed to communicate something important."I shouldn't be here but I think that I should tell you this. I went out to meet Jonathan today and he made it clear to me that...""He's trying to ruin me. I don't think that's news." He interrupted.Orion wasn't pleased that she went behind his back to meet someone that he made an enemy with but it was for the good of the company therefore he couldn't fault her for that. There was only one thing that he was trying too hard not to do which was to allow his emotions to get the best of him after priding himself in being able to keep calm and in control."Are you okay?" She poked her head further into the office trying to catch a
Jonathan walked into the factory the next day expecting that he's shipment was going to be available but who was disappointed when he saw nothing.Everybody was suddenly behaving like they didn't understand that he needed his goods to be delivered to him as soon as possible and it was almost as if he was losing his mind in the process."What do you mean by nobody has been able to know where my suppliers are? I took the job from Jupiter and I made sure that I delivered after my brother refused to take up her jump so why are you telling me all of this right now? What exactly do you hope to get out of this?!"Caroline walked in. Since he and accused her of not knowing anything going on in the business she decided to be more interested but that seemed to only imitate him the more and then he was fond of always dishing out insults toward her."I don't want to hear any excuses. I want to know the reason why my goods have been delayed without anybody giving me a tangible reason on what I sho
Orion stopped just before he entered the house. Someone had tried to rig the entire building and he was just about to find out what exactly this person wanted for him that he believed that he couldn't provide for them and they were trying to get at all costs. For one second here I've been thinking about the people that he must have offended a long time ago and realized that most of them just wanted to make sure that they got their pound of flesh and no matter how much they wanted to try he was always going to beat them at their game, so it was better for him not to even bother himself trying to talk to anybody that was acting crazy."Mr Sharpe, I don't know if this is the correct time for me to tell you this but a few days ago I found someone in front of Samantha's apartment and I didn't think much about it but now that we were attacked I think that..."Orion was less interested in whatever she wanted to say but decided to listen anyway since there was no harm in listening and trying t
143. Samantha strolled back and forth to the bedroom balcony. She had immersed herself in work thinking that it was going to be easy to forget about the man who went out and was hoping not to even return immediately. Yet she was forced to have to do something completely different from what she ever had in mind. Her hands hovered over her phone but her instincts said otherwise in fact she was thinking about how best to make sure that she sorted everything out. Had she said too much and sent him away? How was she supposed to know? A sigh escaped her lips. She had never been this expressive when she was with Jonathan. Maybe she was starting to see Orion even a little bit more and she wanted things to work out beautifully before him instead of what he had convinced himself was right. She picked up her phone and decided to call a long time friend instead. If she didn't talk to anyone right now she was going to lose her mind. Louisa picked up on the third ring. "Hey darling, am I in
142.“What does all of this mean?" Barrister Gary demanded, glancing at the charts that his clients had brought before him as a means of evidence."for a millisecond I thought that I was dreaming but now it seems that all of my fears are true. How do you even explain this huh? you think that I'm the one who's going to give people the permission to trample on your business?" Orion maintained a calm persona that could send anyone crazy yet he wasn't moved by it."How much did my brother pay you? Don't try to act stubborn or else this is not going to work in your favor." Orion declared. He was a lot of things but being a coward wasn't part of them and dealing with people who had always tracked to ruin his legacy was his favorite sport which was going to end anything so therefore he might as well I will just make judicious use of it."You think that I'm going to be working against someone that I swear to protect legally? Do you have the slightest idea of what that is going to do to my ca
Orion kept checking his phone for various messages not because he wanted anybody to text him but because he wanted to see how long this was going to last before his brother tried to play any other stunt. He was expecting that the family members were going to reach out to him but he knew that if they did that it was going to back fire and so he was glad that nobody even attempted to pull any stunt on him. The only thing that he wanted to do right now was to sit somewhere else and soak in a bathtub while he planned his revenge properly and made sure that these people did not get away again this time. If anybody was going to try anything with him then they needed to crush him first or do even more to be able to get to know what he has been able to achieve. The message dropped on his phone just like he had been anticipating and he opened his own immediately waiting for the hilarious messages that he was about to read. "I know that I should not be sending such a message to you but thi
Kicking ass was one of Samantha's fund memories to do. It was one of the things that kept her in shape as dealing with many people sometimes was a whole lot of task. "You should start with the auditing team. Nothing should be able to go past them except they are also involved in it." She spoke.Fr

"Gring!" Samantha touched her head trying to figure out what exactly had happened to her. She wasn't supposed to wake up until 7:00 a.m. "Geez!" She jumped out of bed as a headache plagued her. "Holy shit!" She screamed when she saw Orion naked. Well, he had his briefs on but...Just then it clic
A Little Too Close For Comfort. "Call me when you are free to speak.–Mother." That was the only message Samantha needed to read before she jumped out of her skin. There was no way in hell that she was going to listen to her mother speak to her after disowning her for having contrary opinions to d
