petal's pov

"I advise you, stop going against me, do as I say, or else get ready to take punishment," he said, his voice deep and laced with warning. His dark eyes bore into me, unreadable and menacing. My heart pounded against my ribs, but I refused to let him see my fear.

"But..." I started, my voice trembling, but before I could even form a coherent argument, his eyes flashed dangerously. Within a heartbeat, he grabbed both of my wrists, yanking them above my head and pinning them against the cold, unforgiving wall. A gasp left my lips as my body arched forward, forced into the precarious position by his sudden, aggressive move.

His lips hovered inches from mine, his breath warm against my skin. I turned my head away, refusing to give in to whatever game he was playing.

He chuckled darkly.

“So stubborn,” he mused. “But I like a challenge.”

I glared at him.

“Let me go, Sebastian,” I demanded again.

Petal's povAs we stepped down the first stair, my father's voice rang sharp and commanding through the corridor, halting us both.“Petal, go to your room. I want to talk with Sebastian.”Relief washed over me like a tidal wave crashing against the jagged rocks of my anxiety. I didn’t even wait to hear Sebastian’s response.“Okay, Father,” I replied, my voice trembling despite my attempt to sound composed. I pulled my hand from Sebastian’s grasp. He didn’t stop me this time. His fingers loosened easily, falling away like they were never supposed to hold mine.I turned away, heart pounding, and rushed to my room as if chased by invisible demons. The hallway felt longer than usual, my legs heavier with every step. Once inside, I locked the door, turned off the lights, and collapsed onto the bed. The comforting darkness wrapped around me like a cocoon, yet the silence only made my thoughts louder.I wasn’t hungry. The very idea of food twisted my stomach into knots. He had forced me to e

Petal's povHe broke the hug slowly, his hands still resting firmly on my waist, fingers spread as if claiming possession. He stared at me — not speaking, just watching, like he was trying to read every emotion on my face. There was something obsessive in the way he looked at me. Like he owned me. Like I was his only sanity. And I hated how my heart — my stupid, naive heart — still ached for him. Still wanted to believe he meant his apology. But some part of me knew: this wasn’t love.It was possession. And I was the prize he refused to let go of — even if it meant breaking me to keep me.His eyes bored into mine, unblinking, unreadable, but filled with something I couldn’t quite define—something dark, obsessed. We stood there for a moment, surrounded by silence so thick it could suffocate."Let go of me," I finally whispered, trying to shake off the discomfort crawling up my spine. "You said you wanted to talk with me..." I reminded him, hoping to divert the intensity of the moment.

Petal’s POVMy hands were trembling as I stood frozen at the edge of the hallway, staring at my mother who had just uttered the most terrifying sentence of the day.“Sebastian wants to talk with you in private. Take him to your room.”My breath caught. My room? Private? Just the two of us?Panic surged through me like a crashing wave. A storm of thoughts erupted in my mind, each one darker than the last. Why does he want to talk in private? What does he want now? Will he try to manipulate me again? Force me to talk to Dad? I don’t want to... please not again... Will he blackmail me?I was drowning in fear and doubt. Every scenario played in my head like a horror film on loop. My heart pounded in my chest like a war drum.“LET’S GO, PETAL.”His deep, commanding voice sliced through my thoughts like a blade. I flinched. The sound of his voice felt too close, too powerful — it wrapped around me, suffocating me. A shiver ran down my spine, and I instinctively hugged my arms to my body.He
