LOGAN'S POVI walked down to the training grounds where Len was training, with all the anger in him. His knuckles were red, but he was still punching like his life depended on it. I watched him hurt himself, before I finally took the time to walk over to him, and held the sand bag away from his reach. “What is wrong with you?” I asked, and he frowned, trying to take the bag back from my hand. “I'm not giving you this bag until you talk to me,” I said, and he finally exhaled, as he bent over, holding his knees to catch his breath. I could tell that something was wrong. “What's wrong?” I asked for the second time, and he finally stood upright. “I'm just getting worried about Selene. Constantly. The wedding is still going to take place. Any time soon. I know that was the reason why Zach was here.”I swallowed hard. The wedding was the last thing that I wanted to think about. I didn't know why I had even gotten excited to the extent of trusting her, and giving her an access to me all o
ANA'S POV I held my breath as I followed Zach down the halls. There was confidence in his shoulders. I wasn't imagining it. Could it be that he and Rowan had done something? I was trying hard not to mix things up. Len asked me to trust Rowan. He only had nice things to say about him. It wasn't like I was forced to like him. My spirit genuinely liked him. I pushed Amy kind of doubt out of my mind, and tipped my chin as I allowed Zach to lead me towards Rowan’s house. I was even glad that I wasn't asked to lead him there. How was I supposed to tell him that I didn't know where my uncle's house was?I felt someone watching me, and looked up immediately to see Len narrowing his eyes at Zach and I. He attempted to move, and I gave him a small nod of my head that made him stay back. “You need to speak with your betas. They barely know their places,” Zach said, without even turning back. I felt like strangling him from the back. He finally stopped right in front of a house, and raised hi
ANA'S POV“You don't deserve the throne, Selene,” I heard a voice say in my head. I turned immediately, trying hard to breath as blood splurged from my chest. I coughed, with more blood coming out of my mouth. “Help,” I whispered as I managed to raise my hands. I could barely see the person's face. The only thing I could see was a shiny armor. And something like an initial. I squinted, trying to see what it was. My vision was blurry and my head was hurting. There was only one thing in my head at that point. And it was that I was going to die. I looked up at the person one more time. His eyes were glinting in the moonlight. He struck my face one more time, and I felt my soul leave my body. “Alpha!” Anna screamed, making me inhale deeply. She tapped me again, forcing me to sit up. “What's wrong with you?” She asked, and I looked around, taking the glass of water that was on my side table. I took three long sips, before placing the cup back on the table. I nodded at her. “I'm okay.”
ANA’S POVI held Anna close to me, as she told me everything about how worried Len and Logan were when they figured out that I was missing. Was I supposed to be ashamed that I was deriving so much joy from listening to how much they care about me?I was more than glad that I had Anna there. She was a little girl, but she was the only one that I could comfortably talk to about the things I was feeling. I didn’t care if she understood what I was talking about. She was always there to listen. And I’m sure she knew that it was supposed to be a secret. She had never for once judged. Nor had she told anyone about it just yet. “And for the first time, Uncle Logan didn’t even come out to play with me. He stayed back in his room, and Uncle Len had to take over. He never missed an hour of play. And it was almost like he was even enjoying it more than I did. “Was he?” I asked, trying to hold back my smile. The thought of watching Len play with her when I walked in was still fresh in my mind. H
LEN’S POVI practically had no peace as I watched Selene walk into the palace. She seemed to be so occupied that she didn’t notice that I wasn’t going in with her. “What’s wrong with you, man?” Logan asked, punching my hand in a playful manner. I opened my mouth to respond to him, but I couldn’t. I just shook my head, only making him narrow his eyes. All the people that had gathered to look at Alana had slowly started to head back to their duties. But for some reason, she stayed there on the floor, with her eyes on me. “Doesn’t she seem creepy?” Logan asked, leaning into me. When he didn’t get any response from me, he patted my shoulder. “Selene is worried about you. Loosen up a little.”He walked away, and I was still there. Alana got up slowly. “You seemed to have changed,” she said calmly, looking around the pack.“How did you get in?” I asked, and she twirled her hair in her hand. “A little trick did the job.”I exhaled. Of course, I knew that Selene wouldn’t just allow anybo
ANA'S POV There was a huge smile on my face as I woke up. My legs were wrapped around both Len and Logan. It was funny that I had gotten up between the both of them. Len came back in a sour mood, and the only thing he wanted at that point was me. There was no way I was going to stop him from having all of me. Logan had forgiven me as well, and there was nothing better than then. I attempted standing up, but Len held me back immediately. “Stay,” he murmured, and I smiled, thinking he was still joking. I tried standing up again, but he still held on to me. “Please, Selene. Stay.”I frowned. I looked over at Logan, trying to make sure we weren't disturbing him. “Is everything okay, Len?” I asked, looking at him with a frown on my face. Len refused to open his eyes to look at me. “Just stay here. I need you.”I found myself curling myself into a ball as I backed him, and he pulled me to him. He wrapped his hand around my waist, and buried his nose in my hair. Even if having him hold
