KANE’S POV

I slept next to Sara keeping an eye on her all night long. When she moved, I would wake up to check on her and see what is going on. She had nightmares all night and I had to hold her in my arms and whisper to her.

Tell her that she was safe at home. She would calm down and fall asleep again. That toothpick did a number on her. It would wake up saying it’s burning; she must have been talking about the wolfbane they injected her with.

I hope Logan did the same to them. Even if he killed them, I would not mind. What they did to Sara was unforgivable.

I will still deal with them myself but not until Sara recovers. I woke up early in the morning and showered then went to the kitchen to make food for her.

A sweet voice made me turn around disturbing me from my cooking. “Alpha, I want to see Luna. It’s morning now and you said I could see her in the morning.”

A little girl I have come to know as Lilly, it was hard getting her to leave last night without seeing Sara. Now it’s
