MEGAN’S POV

His words hurt me more than anything, not even beta Logan’s torture hurt me as much as my father’s words hurt me. I knew he didn’t love me, but I never thought he wished death upon me.

It’s fine, I don’t need him in my life either. If he doesn’t love me then that is okay. I never got his love anyway, maybe little Megan did but I never did. All I got from him since I got back is resentment and being avoided.

“I already knew that you didn’t want me, and I am okay with that. But what I am not okay with is you using my money without my permission. Next time you want to spend my money. I need a written proposal telling me what you are going to spend the money on.”

I looked at him, I was in pain and trying to keep a brave face. There is nothing more painful than being rejected by your parents.

I thought he would try if I gave him more time to get used to me again. I thought he would come around and want to spend time with me again. That with time he would forget how we reun
