COLE’S POV

I watched as Kane left after threatening me and wondering what got him so confident that he would threaten me like that. The man was still human no matter the skills and reputation he got himself. I am and always be better than he can ever be.

I stood there thinking about what I did over the weekend. I did not want any mistakes on my part that would cause that maniac to invade my space and find Sara.

"Mr. Cole, they need you upstairs for the meeting." The receptionist informed me and I looked in the direction Kane disappeared to before going back inside. I would need to arrange people to keep an eye on him until I leave this damn country.

I went up to the boardroom and stook a seat then the meeting commenced. It was only five minutes into the meeting when my phone rang. I checked the screen and saw that it was my man back at the house. I answered without saying a word and he told me that there were men at the gate.
