SARA’S POV

When I came to, I could hear them still talking. I took time and listened with my eyes closed. I was shocked to hear prince Ryan commenting like that. I think I will not kill him after all.

I think killing his parents caused him so much pain that he wanted to get back at us for that. Make us feel the same pain he felt. But most importantly. I think he feels alone now that his parents are gone.

It is understandable, they have been together for many years and to suddenly lose them like that might have been a huge blow to him.

I now understand that most of the things we do, we do not do because we like and enjoy doing them but because of the pain we feel when we lose them.

We seek revenge in hopes that it will lessen the pain, but it does not. it makes things worse; I think I will pardon Ryan.

Then I heard how disgusted Logan was by the elders. I was too, to think that I looked up to them and wanted to go to the silver city to learn everything I can about them.
