Soon, a dozen more guards joined us. “That’s all I could obtain without putting the pack’s security at risk,” Marco explained. “This is good enough, Marco,” I said. “Alright, everyone, grab a section. As you can see, we’re leaving this morning,” I said, trying to sound calm.“Luna, that road takes almost a whole day even if the weather’s good. You’re three months pregnant with twins.
