EIGHTEEN

The day was Sunday, Tom will be back in the night but after taking the day he left and three extra days to think, she still doesn't want to meet him. Although she knows it will be unavoidable from now on, she still has to try. Maybe it's time to pay her mom a little visit.

She groaned when she thought of what she was putting herself into by visiting her mom, but it's okay, she can live with it for a day or two, she can't say. She picked up her handbag and left the house. The long evening stroll was what she needed. It calmed her nerves and it reminded her of one of the reasons she loves Folktown. It's calmness at night and the chilling breeze, the flowery scents coming from the houses of those who owns a garden which always reminds her of her dream to have one but too bad, the soil at her place was not good for planting. She got to know that after trying five times but all her flowers and plants died before germinating.

The night was still young and has a romantic vibe to it.
