Clara

“No, grandma.”

Her sharp eyes quickly darted on Samuel right after he uttered those two words.

“What do you mean no?!”

“We’re not ready to be parents yet.” Samuel swiftly looked at me before his eyes widened.

“Y-yes, grandma. Th-that was right,” I mumbled as my eyes locked with him.

“Oh, please!”

The next thing I knew, she had already risen up from the mattress. Samuel immediately attended to assist her but she only pushed him away.

“You’ll sleep together tonight,” she was insisting and Samuel didn’t give her any answers.

“Samuel?” Her tone was challenging as he called for him as if it was a warning.

He threw me a quick glance before he turned back to his grandmother and nodded. “Ye…Yes, Grandma.”

“Yes, what?”

“I…I will sleep with Clara.”

Hearing his tamed voice and seeing his soft face almost made me crack laughing. So, he’s like this with his grandmother, huh?

I've been reading this for days and have yet to see an update. Loving the story line but I'm not going to continue paying into it if I don't start seeing updates. I've found that many authors on this app aren't completing their novels.
