Chapter 7: Secretly Meeting

Lily and James continued to see each other secretly, unable to resist their growing feelings for each other. They would go on late night walks and talk for hours about anything and everything.

"I know we shouldn't be doing this," Lily said one night, as they sat on a park bench. "But I can't help how I feel."

"I know," James replied, taking her hand in his. "I feel the same way."

Despite their efforts to keep their relationship a secret, Lily and James were starting to slip up. They would accidentally call each other by pet names when they were around their friends, and they would often share knowing glances when someone mentioned their significant others.

"We have to be more careful," Lily said one day, as they sat in James's car. "I don't want anyone to find out."

"I know," James replied, taking her hand. "But it's getting harder and harder to keep this a secret."
