Chapter 32 - Brayden is Unequivocal

Brayden's POV

She came, she came. When the detectives told me about how they couldn't see her, I was disappointed. But Steve was relentless. He promised she will come to me but I couldn't believe it. I wanted to go and search for her myself. I must have ended up kidnapping her if that was what it took. Yet, here she was. As stunning as ever. 

When Justin told me she was here, I didn't know how to face her. Our first time was not the way I wanted it to be. It was deafening that my emotions were not written on my face. I am surprised she can't see that I love her. She seems rather frightened. I don't want my personality to scare her but I can't control it. It's just the way I am. With time, I will learn how to speak softly to her but now, I can't let her go. Not after telling her who I am.
