A proposal in prison
“Hey there, friends. What are you all talking about?” Ruby interrupted the four of them after she finished her enquiry with the detective.
“First of all, we are not your friends. Whatever we are talking about is none of your business. Do you understand, Ruby?” Caroline said.
“Nope. I don’t. We all were friends once. Why can’t it happen again?”
“Because you betrayed us,” Caleb replied. Ruby stared at him and left. Soon, they were back in the cell. There’s no hope of getting out of here. At least for a while. But Ruby will be in jail for more than a year. She deserves it. That’s all anyone could say.
Finally, the day has arrived. When all the siblings got a chance to meet their friends. Whoever is willing to see them.
