Upon landing at the airport, Katherine boarded a cab heading straight to her hometown.

She slowly rolled the window down and sighed in delight, feeling the soothing fresh air that splashed across her face as it calmed her down. It'd been over two years since she left this tiny town, and it felt good to finally come home. The memories were slowly coming back, and she couldn't help smiling, forgetting her worries for just a little while.

She got to her house, which was an old-looking beautiful one-story building that had grass in the front and flowers surrounding it. There were also tall trees at the back which beautified the house even more.

This had been her home ever since her mother married her stepdad, who had unexpectedly left them early. And ever since then, they've been staying here.
