Chapter 46

As Veronica's plan to kidnap Sharon progresses, Sammie finds himself in a moral dilemma. He knows that kidnapping someone is wrong, but he also feels a strong sense of loyalty to Veronica, who has helped him out in the past. Nevertheless, Sammie is hesitant to act on Veronica's request.

Veronica grows increasingly impatient with Sammie's indecision. She demands that he follow through with her plan, or risk losing her favor. Eventually, Sammie agrees to kidnap Sharon, but he does so reluctantly.

On the night of the kidnapping, Sammie follows Sharon as she leaves work at the restaurant. He manages to grab her from behind and force her into his car. Sharon is terrified and struggles against him, but Sammie is too strong for her.

Sammie drives Sharon to a remote location and ties her up. He leaves her there and tells Veronica that the job is done. Veronica is pleased and promises to pay Sammie the money she owes him.
