A present for Leo

Alana lowered her face upon the arrival of two women who were now chatting with Leo in the family room. Meanwhile, she sat there, listening, occasionally sipping the now-cold tea.

"I didn't expect you to get married so soon. Aunt thought you would wait for Selena," Miranda's comment caught Alana's attention. Alana looked towards her, and Miranda also looked at Alana as if her words were directed at her.

"Hasn't Selena found a good man already?" Leo said, seemingly not denying Miranda's earlier statement. It was as if Leo agreed that he was waiting for Selena. Alana shifted her gaze with irritation.

"Yes, Aunt regrets that mistake because Aunt accepted that scoundrel who hurt this beautiful niece of hers," Miranda said, stroking Selena's long hair. Selena held Miranda's hand, indicating that she didn't need to tell anything to Leo.

"It's okay, dear. Leo needs to know that your ex left you for those rich aunts who funded and propelled him," Miranda said, making Leo put down his tea cup
