Chapter 6

THE NEXT MORNING

When i woke up in morning, there was no trace of him on the hospital bed. I was so consfused because i can't believe what happened between us the previous night. He showed me his complete different face last night. If it was not for body aches, i would have believed it as my dream.

I sat on the bed and searched around the room as if he left something for me. As i guessed, he left a note and flower bouquet on the near by table. i smiled and got out from the bed to read the note.

Hi babe, Sorry for leaving so early. I have some important meetings with board members. Get discharge letters from hospital soon. George is coming there to pick up you. Waiting for you so badly.....

I read it and laughed so badly...

Oh god..... my stomach hurts.

Then, i sat and ate my breakfast because i felt so hungry in this early morning. Suddenly, i noticed someone entering inside.

Maggie came in with my favourite pink Camellia bouquet in her hand. "Helloo....sweetheart!!!!"

I took those flowers from her hand and smelled it quickly

"Wow sisy....oops...sorry..i didn't...."

"You...." While i was explaining, she grabbed my ear and light slapped in my cheek.

"Ouch!!!!! Maggie it hurts..." i cried in pain.

"Fine, i will forgive you for one last time...." she left her grip from my ear.

"Uffff...thank god..." I sighed.

After looking around the room, she noticed another bouquet on the table. She knitted her brows and asked me quizzically.

"Who bought these beautiful flowers??? Did someone came here before me????"

I scratched my head and closed my face with my hands in embarrassment.

"Oh god...are you dating someone at my back...seriously..." She gave a beatific expression on her pretty face.

I noded and pressed my lips in straight line.

"Who's that???" She raised her brows and asked me with her hands crossed against her chest.

I bite my lower lip and said "You will shout at me...i won't..."

"God damn it!!! Don't test my patience...why would i shout at you for that???? I will be flying in clouds....come on...please" She looked at me curiously.

"It's him!!!!" I said in a low voice with my head down.

"What does even him stands for???

Don't he have any name???" She teased me.

"Oh, Maggie... it's him..." i pronounced the word him deeply.

"Seriously...Lara..." She raised her brows and smirked.

"Ok, fine...Aiden black" I finally said his name to her.

"Shit!!!! Have you gone mad??? Is something wrong with her head???" She yelled at me.

"No...Maggie. he is not as bad as you think....he was so good yesterday....he showed his caring face to me last night..." i tried to explain her.

"Oh Jesus!!!!....did you spent your night with him????...i mean...something happened between you guys???"

I noded and covered my face in embracement.

"Is that something wrong to make love between husband and wife Ms.Magda Linette ???" a bold voice came from the door.

We two turned towards the door at a same time in spilt second. I was so shocked to see him here at this time.

He looked so handsome in his blue suit. But i felt chills down my spine to see his glowering eyes. To say the truth, he was always bad tempered. And now, what he heard from maggie and me....i can't even think of it....God...please save us....

He walked towards us in a steady pace with dark look in his eyes. My heart was beating so fast and i felt as if it will jump out at anytime. I squeezed maggie's hand so hardly.

Seeing me with sweat and fear, maggie looked more angrier than him.

Then, she slowly left my hand and moved forward without fear.

"Yes, Mr.black....Can you tell me exactly when you treated her as your wife for past years of your marriage life????" she asked him mockingly.

"Ms. Linette....you have no rights to question me!!!!" he yelled at her.

"Of course, i have Mr.Black...because i am the one who cared her whenever you bullied her and insulted her with your heart piercing words...." she yelled back at him with no trace of fear in her voice.

"If you speak to me with same tone again....i will make your life a living hell Ms.Linette..." he warned her with mischievous grin.

Oh god!!!!

what's happening here????

I can't leave them to fight for me....

I have to do something....

Suddenly, an old idea flashed in my head. Though it is old, it will work in this situation effectively.

"Please.. help me!!!! i feel dizzy...everything is spinning...." I closed my eyes and played a small drama before them to stop their fight.

"Lara...what happened???" Maggie catched at time saving me from falling down.

Maggie was the first to react. I felt some pain in my heart because i wished him to react first. But as usual, maggie got first.

"Doctor....some one please come and check her....." Maggie shouted with her head off.

Then, i heard some faint footsteps coming near me.

"Please, everyone get out of here now" Chris ordered them.

Chirs, 28 year old bachelor. He was a close friend of Aiden and he works in this hospital as a chief doctor. He is the one who always analyse my reports and prescribe medication to me.

I heard the sound of closing door and i quickly opened my eyes.

"Oh Jesus!!!!" Chris was scared by my sudden action.

"Sorry chris.... i think i scared you.." i blinked my eyes at him.

"So badly..." he completed my sentence.

I smiled at him, seeing the frightened look in his eyes.

"What happened???" he asked glaring at me with his arms crossed against his chest.

"Sorry for wasting your time...i didn't had any other choice to stop the clash between my friend and......"

"And....????" He rolled his eyes at me.

"And your ruthless friend..." i said with a straight face.

"Seriously, after what happened last night....i didn't expected it from you..." he teased me.

"Oh god!!! this is so embarrassing..." i covered my face with the pillow beside me.
