Eunice walked towards the boys’ room and knocked on it gently. The knob twisted, and the door gave way. It was Nathan who opened the door, and he had to look up to see the tall woman standing before them.

Eunice smiled and said, “Hey!”

Instead of replying, Nathan turned to his brothers and signaled for them to come over. Jason and Liam strolled over to him and also saw Eunice.

“Hey… can I come in?”

Jason shrugged, and the boys looked at themselves as if meditating on whether to let her come in or not. Liam opened the door wide for her, and then she walked in.
