“This is Ethan’s house?”

I couldn’t wrap my head around it. What the hell was going on here? Since when have you and my ex-husband become besties to the point that you call him often and even accept favors from him? My eyes burned into Liam’s, my disbelief and anger showing on my face and my attitude. If eyes could kill, he’d be so dead already.

He sat down next to me, his face contorted into a deep frown as he searched for the right words to explain the situation. Well, he doesn’t need to think hard about it. I could see it in his eyes that his is up to no good. I won’t sit here and hear him lie to my face, I don’t need that right now.
