Anesthesia’s POV

“Another shot!” I said in a voice that sounded a little sexier than mine. The music swallowed my voice, but the bartender heard me anyway. He raised a brow like he was judging my life choices, then slid the glass across the counter.

My friend leaned close, shouting into my ear. “Are you done. You’re so done.” I laughed too loud. “I’m twenty. I’m not done with anything.”

The bass hit again hard, relentless vibrating through my bones. People's bodies pressing around me, heat , perfume and sweat mixing into something dizzying. I took the shot without thinking. Seriously, that was a Bad idea. The room was tilted.

“Okay,” I muttered, gripping the edge of the bar. “Okay… I need air.” I searched for my phone, nearly dropping it twice before managing to unlock it. I managed to Book ride for a ride app. My fingers felt like they belonged to someone else.

A notification popped up immediately: Ride arriving in 2 minutes. Oh, that’s good. I slid off the stool — and immediately stumbled.

“ hey!”

Strong hands caught my arms before I hit the floor. I blinked up at a familiar uniform. One of the servers. “You alright, miss?”

“I’m fine,” I said automatically, even though my knees disagreed. “Just— heels are traitors.”

He smiled, unconvinced. “Let me walk you out.”

“I can walk,” I protested, already leaning on him.

He didn’t argue.and assisted me through the hallway. The noise faded as the doors opened. Cold night air slapped my face, sharp and sobering. I sucked in a breath, swaying slightly as we stepped outside. “Heyy” i struggled to stand on my own “I’m good from here,” I said, waving him off.

He hesitated. “You sure?”

“Yeahhhh.”

He took one step back, then stopped. “You got your ride?”

“Hmmm” trying so hard to hear him

“You got your ride?” He repeated almost screaming into my ears.

“Ohh yes.. yes” I squinted at my phone. The screen was a little blurry. Letters were more like dancing. “Can you… um,” I tilted it toward him, embarrassed, “please read this for me?”

He glanced down. “Gray car. GWM Voleex C3.”

“Gray,” I repeated seriously, nodding like I’d memorized it. “Thank you. You’re a hero.” He laughed and went back inside. I stood there for a second, blinking at the street. Searching from one to another, there were Too many cars. I turned slowly, scanning left. Right. Left again.Luckily I saw it. A large SUV idling near the curb. Dark. Expensive-looking. Definitely a GWM… something. Close enough.

My phone buzzed: Your ride has arrived. “See?” I murmured to myself. “Fate.”

I walked toward it, each step slightly crooked. As I reached the door, I noticed the driver’s head was lowered, like he was looking at something in his hands. “Hi,” I said, opening the back door and sliding in before he could object.

The leather seat felt warm and comfortable. “Los Lira Hotel,” I added, clicking my seatbelt out of habit. “Please.”No response. I frowned and Lean a little forward. “Hello?”

Still nothing.I tapped his shoulder calmly, then He lifted his head.to my Surprise he looked different. Like he wasn't a driver. At least—not any kind I’d ever seen. His Sharp jaw, Dark hair. His Eyes that met mine through the rearview mirror — steady, unreadable, dangerous in a quiet way. For a second, I forgot where I was and what I’d asked.

“Los Lira Hotel,” he said slowly, like he was tasting the words, His voice was deep.

“Yeah,” I breathed. “That’s the one.” He watched me for another beat, something unreadable flickering in his eyes. He looked like he was in the same state as me. Then the engine started.

Heat pooled low in my stomach.

“Heyy Mr can you high the volume” I said with my hand tapping his shoulder. But it seems he wasn’t hearing me.

“Buzzzzzzz” I snap down to my phone screen

It was Luca, my bodyguard, He was outside the club waiting for me, that was the reason I had to follow the back door, I was feeling horny, the nasty part of me was out today but my body wasn’t feeling like inviting Lucas today. I felt like having someone else.

I quickly put off my phone and smiled at my available driver. And for a moment I dose off.But not for too long. A hand tapped me from the side. My eyes felt too heavy but I managed to open it halfway , The car idled in the shadows of the parking lot. Then I heard the door slam. Which made me jeck, and for some reason my body didn’t feel like my own. I was at the pick and and really wanted to make out with a man.

Then the door opened again, but this time it was next to me,I turned slightly then I saw his eyes dark and unreadable. It was Lucas. My tummy moved, not for sadness but for a little joy, he showed up when I needed him.

“ Lucas you came for me” Maybe it was the wine. Maybe it was the way his grazed my nerves like silk. I felt water coming off my eyes, I just couldn’t control it , He lean close to carry me

I also leaned forward until our faces were inches apart. “Lucas, I need you now and here.” Before I could say another word, he leaned in his breath warm against my neck — and bit gently at my left ear, the most sensitive part of me. A shiver shot through me. Heat coiled low in my stomach.

And immediately my whole body was excited for his warm body. I was sure I need more of him “Bang” the door closed. We connected by kissing. His lips were the softest skin I have ever felt, his mouth tested like sweet wine.

His hands slid under my dress, slow but deliberate, tracing every inch of my skin like he already knew my body better than I did.

“Do you like that?” he whispered against my throat, leaving a soft kiss there.

I couldn’t control myself anymore. I grabbed him and began unbuttoning his shirt, needing to feel the hard lines of his chest beneath my hands.

“You’re quite a wild cat,” he murmured with a mocking chuckle.

“Yes, I am. Now kiss me. You’ve driven me insane.” And then he was in the back with me. I pulled him closer, tasting his lips, kissing him like I’d been starving for this. In the dim hotel lighting filtering through the windows, I saw him unfasten his shirt with swift, unbothered movements.

The rest blurred into heat and instinct. He moved with a mix of control and hunger, pushing me back gently but firmly, his lips trailing down my neck until my breath trembled. He didn’t rush but he didn’t hesitate either. Everything he did was deliberate, confident, devastatingly skilled.

The world outside the car dissolved.

Only the heat, the closeness, the rhythm of his breath and mine remained.

I didn’t know when exhaustion finally pulled me under. All I remembered was falling asleep against him, tangled together in the most uncomfortable way.

Light flashed across the window, My eyes fluttered open a little, For a second I thought I saw someone standing outside the car. My head was too heavy to understand it Everything blurred again then I slept off.

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember    115: Forever, Not Force

Ana’s POVHappiness isn’t loud.It doesn’t arrive like a storm or crash into your life demanding to be noticed. It doesn’t shake everything around it until you’re forced to acknowledge that something has changed. It’s quieter than that. Softer. It settles into the spaces that once felt empty, into moments that used to feel heavy, into silence that once carried tension and now simply… exists. And somehow, that makes it more real.Life had changed. Not suddenly. Not in a way that erased everything we had been through, but slowly, steadily—in a way that didn’t demand attention, yet stayed long enough to become permanent. The house no longer felt unfamiliar. It wasn’t something I was still adjusting to.It felt like home. Not because of the walls or the space or the quiet that surrounded it, but because of what existed inside it now.Us.Our child slept peacefully in the room down the hall, her soft breathing grounding everything, reminding me in the simplest way that some things had surv

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember    114: Love Without Fear

Japhet’s POVThere was a time when I believed love had to be overwhelming to be real—loud, consuming, something that took over everything until nothing was left untouched, nothing left unchanged. It was something that demanded, claimed, and held so tightly that losing it was never an option. That was the only version I understood. The only version I knew how to give. And it had nearly destroyed everything. Now, standing in front of her—in a space that no longer felt like a cage, in a moment that carried no weight of control or fear or expectation—I realized something I had never allowed myself to see before.Love didn’t have to take.It didn’t have to break. It didn’t have to force itself into someone’s life just to exist. It could wait.It could learn. It could change.Ana stood a few steps away, the evening light soft around her, the quiet of the house settled in a way that no longer felt unfamiliar. It wasn’t something we were still adjusting to—it had become ours in its own slow,

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember    113: The Family They Almost Lost

Ana’s POVSome losses don’t fully happen. They almost do. They linger at the edge, close enough to feel, close enough to leave a mark without ever completely taking form. And somehow, that makes them heavier—because you see them, you understand them, and you realize just how easily everything could have slipped away while you were too lost to notice.I had lived in that space for too long—that thin, fragile line between holding on and losing everything. And now, standing here, watching him… watching us, I felt it again. Not as fear, but as awareness. Our child looked impossibly small in his arms. Too small, sometimes it seemed, for a world like ours—like something so fragile shouldn’t exist in hands that had once known only control, violence, and destruction. And yet, there he was.Holding her.Carefully.Not with confidence, not with the instinctive certainty of someone used to possessing what he touched, but with caution—like he wasn’t entirely sure how to do it, like he was afraid

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember     112: Learning to Breathe Together

Ana’s POVPeace is a strange thing when you’ve lived too long in chaos. It doesn’t arrive loudly or announce itself, and it doesn’t force you to notice it. It simply settles—quietly, almost carefully—like it isn’t entirely sure it’s allowed to stay. For the longest time, I didn’t trust it.I didn’t trust the silence that stretched through the house without breaking into something sharp. I didn’t trust the absence of tension, the lack of conflict, the way everything existed without the constant push and pull I had grown used to—the kind that demanded reaction, demanded emotion, demanded something to happen. Now, nothing was happening. And somehow, that felt unfamiliar.Japhet and I lived in the same space again—not as captor and captive, not as enemies, not even as something clearly defined. Just two people under the same roof, moving around each other without colliding, without forcing interaction, without turning every moment into something heavy. There were no fights, no raised voic

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember     111: The First Choice

Ana’s POVFreedom feels strange when you’ve forgotten what to do with it.For days—maybe longer, I stopped counting—I moved through this place without anyone stopping me, without doors closing behind me, without footsteps trailing close enough to remind me that every movement was being watched, controlled, measured.I could leave. That was the truth. The gate wasn’t locked. The guards didn’t block my path. No one stood there waiting to drag me back inside if I took one step too far.And yet, I hadn’t left. Not because I couldn’t, but because something inside me wasn’t ready to make that choice yet. That realization unsettled me more than anything else. For so long, everything had been about survival—enduring, waiting for the moment I could finally break free. And now that the moment was here, now that nothing physical was holding me back, I found myself hesitating. Not out of fear. Not out of weakness. But because things had changed. He had changed. Not in a way that erased what he ha

  • Seducing Mr Lukers: A night to remember    110

Japhet’s POVI used to believe that if something mattered, you took it—no waiting, no hesitation, no standing at a distance hoping it would come to you on its own. You claimed it, held it, and made sure it stayed exactly where you wanted it to be.That was how I built everything I had. It was how I survived, how I became the man people didn’t question—the man who didn’t ask, the man who didn’t lose. But none of that worked here. None of it applied to her.For the first time, I understood that taking something didn’t mean keeping it. Sometimes, it meant destroying it.So I stopped taking, and I started learning something I had never needed before—how to earn.It didn’t come naturally. There was no instinct guiding me, no clear path, no certainty that what I was doing would matter, or reach her, or even be noticed. But I did it anyway, not because I expected something in return, but because it was the only way forward that didn’t repeat the same mistakes. The first time was simple—too s
