It wasn't Her

Aden Bruce POV

I said goodbye to her with a heavy heart. After the tiring flight I wanted to take rest but I called her and she picked it up on first ring. She was asking too many questions about flight, me and much more.

Aden "Okay okay My Petal. Calm down. I am fine and just got a bit tired. How are you? Why didn't you sleep till now?"

Mel "I was going to sleep. You should take rest and don't worry about me Audrey is gonna come tomorrow."

Aden "Oh finally some good news. How is her mom's condition?"

Mel "She isn't that much well. She is coming to take her stuff and would stay here for one night only. There isn't anyone who would take care of her Mom."

Aden "Yeah I know.  I was thinking of visiting them but didn't get time for that."

After talking about these things she immediately stopped saying anything.
