Chapter 18

EARLIER ON...

Maria's phone vibrated from the desk across the room. Caleb cursed under his breath and took a long stride towards it. The phone has been vibrating for a while now but he ignored it with the hope it will stop.

He actually seized Maria's purse and her phone. He just did not want to give her access to the outside world. He hopes to keep her here for a long time until he decides to let her go.

The fact that she is dating his brother, Jack, gives him a whole new level of hatred for Jack.

Maria was supposed to be his forever but because his brother, Jack could not watch that happen, he framed him for a crime and sent him to prison and still went ahead and took his girlfriend.

As long as he is free, Caleb had vowed to make his brother and his former girlfriend pay for what they did to him. He would make sure they paid and he had started, his brother would not see what's coming his way until it's too late.
