45. Leo

I walked out of the front of my mansion and saw that my car was ready like I asked Pete to arrange with a driver to wait and hold the door for me but I didn't want to leave with a driver.

"Good morning, sir," The driver greeted me when I got close to the car.

"Let me have the keys," I told him and he handed it over.

I drove to the house that I took Mae yesterday and the caretaker opened the gate. I had asked him not to go to the back no matter how much Mae cried out for help.

I can't even recall why I did that; if it was because I didn't want her to be seen naked and hanging from a tree or if I gave him that order. After all, I wanted to punish her.

I hurried on to the back to check if she was still hanging on. I don't know why but I couldn't sleep last night after I left her here for the mansion. I kept on turning in bed. It was almost like a guilty feeling, something that I haven't felt for so long.

It's not like it's the first time I've had someone hang on to a rope over that pool.
