It had only been six months, but Grayson was noticeably thinner. Stubble darkened his jaw, and exhaustion was etched into every line of his face.

He fastened the engraved platinum pocket watch around my neck. "Aria, this is the second token of our love, and the most formal one. From now on, you can wear it every day."
