My mother laughing, she listened to her usual morning gossip on the radio as I scanned through the Internet on my phone.

"So why aren't you going to work again?"

"Oh someone broke into my office last night. The police are there now observing. They said it would be best if we were not there."

"Really? What did they take?" I asked.

"So far, nothing that we know of. Everything just seemed to be thrown everywhere. I wont know for sure until I clean-up for myself."

"Oh. That's weird."

I stuffed my things into my back as we pulled up in front of my prison.

"See ya mom?" I yelled out as I ran toward the entrance of the school. Annoyed that I had missed a good half of my first class, I walked in with my head low. Ignoring the staring eyes, I kept my head down as I made my way to my seat.
