~Kara's POV~
CONTINUATION...
My knife almost dropped from my hands when I saw them.
Lance and some pretty girl with auburn color hair who was wearing a frozen inspired dress stood frozen at the entrance to the dinning.
My eyes darted to their intertwined fingers and my heart sank inside me.
Before my brain could calculate or tell me what next to do.
"Kara watch out!." Two female voices yelled in unison from behind me, calling me out from my heartbroken reverie.
In that split second I spun around and I didn't even realize when my knife fell from my hand.
"I'm sorry." He muttered as he used the hilt of his gun to knock me out.
His chilled expression while betraying me was the last thing I saw before I crashed to the tiled floor and everything went black.

A sharp pain pierced my temples as my eyes flickered open, from a distance I could hear the pitter-patter of tiny drops of water as they hit t
~Kara's POV~I stared out the western window unto the moonlit compound, the house was relatively quiet and I could hear the gentle whizzing of the autumn wind right outside amongst the trees and flowers.Someone was dumb enough to leave the keys to my cell inside the food tray that was brought to me, what did they think? That I wouldn't use it? That's when I would have been convinced I was a fool.Well long story short... I escaped!.I didn't have to turn around to know someone else was here."I never knew you to be the scared one!." I called out into the darkness without turning or averting my gaze from the moonlit patio.I twirled the shuriken in my hand and then in a quick well practiced motion, I spun around and threw the Ninja star towards his direction.Yes, I have been training. There was a short silence before a very familiar voice sounded across the living room, echoing through the darkness."I'm not scared, I know what you're capable of." He said as he stepped into the light,
~Kara's POV~"Hello, Kara?." A small feminine voice echoed from my phone speaker with a tone of worry etched in her voice."Sam?." I questioned, feeling rather perplexed as I pulled my phone away from my ear to stare at the screen and be sure I was hearing and seeing properly."Omg Kara, where have you and Lance been? Y'all just ghosted us and ditched school since the Halloween party night, is something wrong?." She sounded very worried, I could literally picture the expression on her face now and it made me chuckle."You're laughing! Unbelievable, do you know how worried I was, I thought something had happened to y'all!." She kept on rambling.Typical Sam always a chill vibe."Calm down sugar, nothing's wrong, Lance and I are on vacation..." I said calmly as I felt a devious smirk crossing my amused lips and brightening my facial expression."Are you kidding me? Then I shouldn't be worried that you're gonna have yourself killed, don't lie to me, K." Sam shuddered in the background.Ok
~Third Person POV~Johnny was led into the confines of the well guarded facility, the facility contained some high level technologies and almost everything inside the facility used sensors and facial recognition. The Blacksite was very well guarded with trained professional Vipers stationed all around the premises at strategic places, it would be difficult to infiltrate such a place. There was something quite fishy though about the high level security if it was just for the mentally unstable then it was way too much, well it was called a Blacksite for a reason, something was being hidden in here and Johnny could feel it but he came here today for a different purpose entirely. The Vipers had been able to lay their hands on good technology from the wholesome cash which Persian Hill produced every year which ranged from £1.8billion to £3.5billion yearly.Smuggling drugs across the border for Mexican drug Lords and arms dealers in Chicago and also selling 1
~Lance's POV~"C'mon you wanna tell me you never sat out and stared at the stars when you were little?." I exclaimed in amusement as I glanced at Silver. We were both in the upstairs balcony patio staring out at the night sky and enjoying the moment, the weather was relatively cool as wind wheezed amongst the tall trees.I was putting on an ash hoodie with black sweatpants while Silver was putting on an overly sized white sweatshirt and a matching white short."Where I grew up, I didn't even know there were stars, literally!." Silver said and laughed heartedly."Cheers to that..." I said and lifted my cocktail glass."Same!." Silver said and lifted her own glass and then we both touched glasses."So that's Adromeda, some vain queen, she actually got kicked out because she pissed off Poseidon." I said cockily as I pointed at the stars and gave Silver a self gloating smile."Vain queen!..." She repeated, grinning a little, "Is that some
~Lance POV~I stepped on the accelerator as the gates of the Sterling Enterprises gave way for our entrance. I pumped the engine lightly till I finally got to an empty parking lot.The Enterprise was usually crowded and thankfully the surrounding was very spacious and filled with lots of trees.I finally came to a stop and then pushed the button to turn off the ignition. We all stepped out of the car."It's bigger than I remember." Johnny said from beside me, using his hands to shield his eyes from the sun as he took in the aura of the tall building."It's bigger than I imagined." Silver added dramatically, holding her laptop a little tighter to her chest.I just gave a small soft laugh and led the way towards the front door of the building.Well the Enterprise was big and before my dad was murdered, the Enterprise had a major expansion, so yes, it was really big.Presently twenty stories tall and it was filled with high and impr
~Kara's POV~Nothing in the universe could have possibly prepared me for today, I knew we had to make an alliance at some point but this is literally the most shocking alliance.I was walking side by side with my Mom into the premises, the place was unfamiliar to an extent but it was close to my favorite place in the world, the docks. We were literally at a warehouse by the loading docks, my favorite place was the docks facing the river that flowed below the town's bridge, that place held quite a few memories of my life, it was my happy and peaceful place."Who is this mystery person Mom?." I asked her again."You don't want to spoil the surprise now do you?." Anna said cheesily. We had received a mysterious text to form an alliance and we were given an address. Well it was mysterious for me but she seemed to be well acquainted with everything. Our little Mother and daughter banter ended that day outside the cafe stall.I forgive her because she had never stopped loving me, I was just
"Should I close my eyes?." A girly voice asked us in amusement. We jolted apart. My cheeks were burning in embarrassment.Whomever it was had ruined the moment.Lance and I looked up at the person at the same time. We were both equally as shocked as one another."Sam?." We exclaimed in unison with stunned faces."Hey Lancey and Kay!." Sam beamed with flaming cheeks.Lance stood up first then extended me a hand to help me up, which I took with a smile and got on my feet."Well aren't y'all some cute goals?." Sam bickered rocking on her toes."What the hell are you doing here?." I asked with excitement and surprise as I hugged her."Let's just say we all have our own untold story..." She retorted still smiling bravely.True that...Well welcome to the club Sammie!A passing cloud shielded us for a moment from the relatively hot sun rays. I finally stopped squinting while Sam calmly brought her hands down fro
~Third person pov~A quiet discussion is seen going on between three men inside a spacious well furnished company office, that had crazy view goals from the rare canyon window that practically over looked the rest of the city.Outside the window a pale yellow sun shines high up in the sky, as a flock of birds fly by in unison, skycrapers of the same designs are spread far across the city, amongst the busy roads and housing apartments scattered around, the area's land survey was gold.It was a perfect site to stare out at during a gloomy day.One of the men stood by the window calmly staring out with a champagne glass in his hand that contained a golden liquid that kept sizzling occasionally as he sipped like a gentleman. The other two men present in the room were calmly seated in front of the large oak office table that contained several awards, a small HP laptop, a mouse, a pen holder, notepads and lots of files, and finally a name tag with the na
