Wanting To Know

*Draven POV*

We are nearly back to the academy. When Sage woke up yesterday, I was thankful that everything seemed back to normal. Five days of that craziness was a lot. As much as I love pleasing my mate, it was madness.

“Can’t we go to Silver Springs first? I would love to shift and run to the hot springs. Maybe soak a little,” she whined. I couldn’t let her miss any more school. I had a lot to take care of at the pack since Tristan and I would be heading back to South Dakota in a little over a week.

“We’ll do that this weekend, babe. I promise. If you need to shift, have Rowan go with you and run in the forest behind the school,” I replied.

She rolled her eyes at me, and turned her head to face the window. Her lack of interest in her education is growing, but I have to stick to my guns on this. To me it’s important, just as important as her being with me every day.

She ended up falling asleep, and I took this opportunity to talk with Tyler about something that had been bothering
